But what I'm looking for is things I've missed! Are there things that really should be on this list?!

- We see Ritsuko (episode 13) and Asuka (episode 22) in the exact same place in the bathroom. Someone on tumblr posted a theory that Ritsuko and Asuka undergo the same problems. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bvOIH9 ... sp=sharing
- Asuka is often seen in front of the sun. The sun is radiant and energetic and makes Asuka cast a huge shadow.
- Rei is often seen in front of the moon. The ending titles are a good example, but this could be a reference to the First Impact basically creating the moon or that Rei is matched with the Black Moon. However... I've seen plenty of shots with Rei in front of the sun, so I'mmmmmm kinda on the fence how this seems to not really hold up per se. An example is Rei swimming in Episode 10 where there's a bright light you can see over her which can't really be the moon.
- Shinji's carpet looks like an AT Field to show how his own AT Field is keeping him back from connecting to others
- There are shots of the NERV Bridge Bunnies in downtime, Ibuki reading a book, Hyuga reading a comic and Aoba air guitaring which is paralelled in episode 3 by three kids from Shinji's class doing the exact same (don't know why this is PER SE, but it's not a huge mind blowing deal I think :b)
- Yui's hand caressing Shinji's face during episode 16 and End of Evangelion is paralelled with Asuka doing the same in the final scene of End of Evangelion
- Asuka, Rei and Shinji crawling through the vents in episode 11 is paralelled as their Units do the same in the opposite direction later on that same episode
- Misato grabbing Shinji's face is paralelled with Unit-01 grabbing Sachiel's face
- Shinji's return to pilot Unit-01 in episode 19 paralells his encounter with his father in episode 1
- First steps of Unit-01 and Jet Alone are paralelled
- Unit-01 saving Shinji from the falling lights in Episode 1 is foreshadowed by the big hand in the purple liquid in the background of an earlier shot where Shinji is in the elevator reading the NERV manual. This one I'm pretty sure is intentional, cause the perspective in which we see the hand makes no sense.
- Kaworu's head drops into the LCL (or yellow liquid) in episode 24 paralells an electrical part falling into the water at the start of End of Evangelion (this one is more a sounds effect that matches, but still, it's a paralell)
- In Episode 11 Asuka and Rei let Shinji do the hard work in manually opening doors while Ritsuko and Ibuki do the same with a bunch of NERV male personel
- A lot of military shots from episode 1 against Sachiel are re-used again in End of Evangelion when the military is fighting Asuka
- Misato coming to school in episode 7 is also revisited in episode 26
- Episode 5 has a scene where Rei is putting on her panties while Episode 6 has a shot where she takes them off from the other side, but the movement is exactly the same.
- Misato's painful past is shown every time she has her hand over her tummy, when she's a little kid, when she has her arm broken, when she talks to Kaji about her father and when she's shot in End of Evangelion
- In Episode 15 and 23 Misato puts a gun to both Kaji and Ritsuko respectively. For Ritsuko she points it exactly where she is later seen to have a bullet exit wound, so the same can probably be said for Kaji, meaning he was probably shot in the head. This one is pure speculation, but it's awesome.
- In Episode 7 we see two mornings where Misato is late out of bed and one where she comes to the table completely dressed and awake. This is an obvious one, but I also want some obvious ones to slowly get into the meaty stuff
- In Episode 16 we see a vague silhouette of Yui. Later that episode and also in Episode 20 we see a mirrored vague silhouette of Misato in almost the exact same pose. The shot in Episode 20 is bookended by two exactly the same shots of Shinji, but one is mirrored. Co-incidence? I think not!
- Shinji/Asuka (episode 11), Kaji/Misato (episode 11) and Unit-01 and Unit-02 (episode 9) falling over eachother.
- Zeruel attacking the NERV piramid is similar to Shinji kicking the Piramid in the playground scene in End of Evangelion
- Quantum Rei from the beginning of the series to the final scene of End of Evangelion
- Gendo (episode 5) and Shinji (episode 6) both trying to save Rei from her plug
- The white Rei from episode 23 looks like the white Rei from End of Evangelion
- Not exactly visually matching, but it's told visually so I'm counting it. Asuka tries to be more adult like Misato by stealing her light yellow shirt and wearing it herself.
