Hey there!

I was watching James Rolfe's review of Akira this morning and was surprised to hear his buddies talk about Eva for a bit.

The show is mentioned from about 9:53 to 10:54.

I always find it amusing when content creators I've been following for a long time suddenly mention a series or franchise I'm fond of. I figured I would share it with you guys (especially since some of you might be fans of James).

Now I'm just wondering if James will tackle Eva someday and perhaps even give it a review! :hahaha:

I was expecting Justin to be the one to bring it up. I remember him and Jarrett doing some Eva references and parodies on their defunct Silvermania channel.

It would be interesting if James reviewed Eva, although I feel like he wouldn't be able to spend enough time with it to really get it. I have the feeling a number of people will unexpectedly get into it now that it'll be on Netflix.

Nah, James is a smart guy. Even if he disliked the show, I'm sure he would treat it with the respect of a good reviewer.

Yeah you're probably right I have noticed that his reviews outside of AVGN are a lot more intellectual

Yeah, he's really playing the character in most of those videos. It's funny how calm and nice he actually is.
