Anyone go to AnimeNext this past saturday? I went as Shinji and I found two Misato's, a Gendo, and the best Rei cosplayer I had ever seen. (I got a hug from Rei! :P )

I went to Anime Central last month and saw quite a few Gendos, including the ever-popular "Pimp Gendo". I wanted to get a picture of him, but he was too sneaky for me, the damn dirty bastard. o_<
I myself went as Rei in her school uniform. Maybe I'll post a picture later when I get back from vacation.
I also took a picture of, in my opinion, two of THE best Asuka and Rei plugsuit cosplayers ever. I think I'll post that up later.

Embarassing--I mean, they almost look like, y'know, body paint. Naturally, I thought the cos-players wouldn't even consider attempting it.
But there were, at the December '95 Comic Market, the February '96 Wonder Festival, at the... You know, I hate crowds, so ordinarily the whole cos-play scene is no more than a distant reality. But this... this, I had to see. Specifically, I had to see the girls in sky-blue wigs, wearing white plugsuits. Mmmm. I had to see it.
