I'm pretty sure this is official, but I'm not sure why they made a full version of the opening full of spoilers (including EoE ones)

It is a great...music video. It's one that was included on one of the Japanese Eva DVD collections.

Yeah I thought it was official. They did a great job emulating the style of the opening... if it wasn't the same editors, you could have fooled me

The 4-minute full OP comes from the Renewal "Test Type" DVD. There was a similarly extended ED as well.

The 01 TEST-TYPE DVD was, by the way, a release targeted at fans promoting the remastered (or Renewal version) series. It included the entire remastered episode 01 (which was quite a sight to behold at the time) along with the two music videos produced by Masayuki (a.k.a. Anno's other right-hand man and director of Death).
