:peace:

Milan Records has secured an official western soundtrack release for the OST of 1.11, to be released in November.

Only took em ten years!
I’ll escape now from this world, from the world of Jean Valjean, Jean Valjean is nothing now! Another story must begin!

I'd rather we get the soundtrack for the original series, but I guess the rights for that are still tangled up in the remains of ADV.

I second that but hey I am still salivating

Did ADV ever own the rights to Evangelion's soundtrack? Also, I remember hearing that ADV's rights to the franchise expired, which lead to them (unsuccessfully) suing Gainax in order to get those rights back. I don't think ADV legally has a dog in that fight anymore.

ADV. A company so dead it never even was around to create an official twitter account.

When do you think we'll get the 2.0 and 3.0 soundtrack?

Going by the memory of my Refrain of Evangelion album (Shinji on cover), that was released Pioneer/Geneon (they released tons of anime back in the day).

Not that this isn't good news or anything, but is there anything wrong with importing the OSTs other than the price? I import the OSTs for FFXIV and I have no issue being able to play them nor did I have an issue with the 3.0 OST included with the Q BD.
Please just call me Ian, "TheFrisky" is more of a title.

Fans: Will 2.22 and 3.33's OST's be released in the west?

Milan Records: It depends.

Sneaky. Encourages people to buy the current release.

If the price is alright I might do so. Even though I have the Japanese CD on my shelf.
