Film scenes that made you say "I'm done"

Say you're watching a movie that is absolutely awful, and then, before it even ends, you get to a scene so schlocky and poorly executed that you just throw your hands in the air and say "I QUIT" instead of finishing the film. Rather than simply posting the scene, let's flex our braincocks and come up with exactly why said scene fails.

After a soulless and boring romp filled with schadenfreude and characters too unsympathetic to be likable, but not vile enough to be hateable, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation culminates with the epitome of failure at comedy, forgetting to put an actual joke into what's intended as black comedy. Comedy is already really difficult to write, especially when it's the primary focus of an hour and a half one-shot and everyone assumes it's easy (which is why we have all these awful big budget Hollywood comedies that are forgotten before they're released on home video), but black comedy, by definition, takes things inherently unfunny and warps them into humor. Now, the most important part of black comedy, or any comedy really, is including an actual goddamn joke. When your only attempts at humor are unpleasant imagery that seems to serve no purpose other than to traumatize small children and an unsympathetic and sociopathic asshole of a cousin making jokes that have all the wit of a fourth grader who watches too much Tosh.0 (although any at all is too much with that show, to be honest), never minding that the average audience member is probably wanting to Eddie fucking die already so the moderately less irritating characters can get screentime and irritate you to a moderately lower degree, you know you've done something horribly wrong.

So, what scenes made you guys give up on a film completely?

The moment when EDGE DESTROYS THE FUCKING (alternate) EARTH:
https://youtu.be/uhT08Oa_zmI?t=378
He then proceeds to get praised by his party for the rest of the game and they all call him a great leader when his poor decision maker and terrible leadership skills are the ENTIRE REASON that earth was destroyed.
It's made worse by his party being UNBEARABLE from the shitty kid who just say "kay?" at the end of every sentence to the stock childhood love interest to the voice acting ( in both Japanese and english) being poor in general.

But this scene and everything that follows it is what utterly ruined an already mediocre game.
Fuck this game.

Uhh, National Lampoon isn't black comedy. It's slapstick.

Not a film, but okay! And yeah, this was the moment the game jumped the shark. It was mediocre before that, but from then on the story is utterly painful, all the way up to and including the reveal of the final boss! Holy shit was the climax of that game horrible. (Reimi is bae tho)

I think in Birdemic(It was a really mediocre movie before this scene but was is next to this scene is torture) it was the giant jumbo jelly fish scene.

Christmas Vacation is the single most important holiday tradition in my household sir. Further slander will result in extreme retaliation.

This part of Dear Black People.

It's 3progressive5me. And apparently YouTube hates this scene so much that the upload glitches out.

There's a wonderful comment on this video. "If you think that rascism and prejudice are morally different then you are a shitty person who hides behind definitions." It pretty much sums my thoughts up on the argument in this clip.

When that cat gets electrocuted in Christmas Vacation it makes me love the film all that much more.

I will never quit a film over objectionable content or whether or not it pushes my buttons. Really the only thing that makes me quit something is boredom.

When Optimus Prime died in Transformer 2 I realized exactly how apathetic I was to the whole narrative and just shut it off.

As bad as Transformers 2 was, I could make it through the whole thing.

I expect everyone to hate me for this, because these movies are inexplicably popular, but:

I walked out on Star Trek Into Darkness about a half hour in, bored to death by another pointless action scene (I can't even remember which one). There are dozens of stupid action movies every year, why did they have turn Star Trek into one? Star Trek was slower paced, usually cerebral and philosophical and all about exploring the world of the future and the implications of everything in it, the relations between the different aliens and throwing in plenty cool science fiction concepts. The reboot is just Transformers for people who are to embarrassed to watch Transformers, and that kind of movie is the antitheses of everything the franchise was built around. I'm just glad the third entry in the reboot is supposedly actually like real Star Trek, because the first and ESPECIALLY the second were just tedious CGI-porn with absolutely no substance backing it.

I don't mind that movies like Into Darkness exist, what I mind is it pretending to be Star Trek when it is the antithesis of the 50 years of TV episodes and movies that came before it. When I watch something called Star Trek, I want to see Star Trek. This is a franchise I love, and this reboot shits all over everything it stood for.
Listening to Komm Susser Tod on loop. Back in three days.

At Reputable Dubbing Pictures (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGa4y4V6Ifov9zpZGUOMB5A), I have a Sonic abridged series containing elaborate NGE parodies. For some reason.

Kyoko Soryu: I found Star Trek (2009) fun enough at first, but I've found the experience to get worse every time I try watching it. I arrived upon an intense dislike of Into Darkness while I was watching it in theaters. I stuck it out to the end and... wow, what a consummate trainwreck. From what I recall, the moment I knew for sure I was "done" when they had Leonard Nimoy show up to tell the new cast what a rotten apple that Khan fellow was. My eyes couldn't roll any harder.

Star Trek 2009 was inoffensively disingenuous. Into Darkness was 9/11 Truther disguised as an illogically dumb space opera. Star Trek Beyond was actually kind of fun to watch.

Zachary Quinto doing the Khan yell in STID and the use of "Sabotage" in STB both made me cringe so hard, I caved in on myself and became a black hole, devoid of energy, matter, and happiness.

The original Khan yell by Shatner in ST:II is, granted, one of the most cheesy moments in film history, but it works and can be forgiven because of the strength and gravitas of the movie surrounding it. Into Darkness' attempt fails horribly because it's within a dumb movie that's deliberately ripping off several iconic moments from the earlier '82 film.

The use of a Beastie Boys song to destroy enemy ships is the one of the most mind-rapingly awful attempts to give a "hip" flavor to something involving Star Trek. I would rather watch a dog lick its balls; it's more believable and entertaining.
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

The bit in A Christmas Too Many where that one guy cuts his finger off. I can deal with a lot but for some reason finger mutilation just sends me into full NOPE NOPE NOPE mode.
