Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I hate posting on this part of the forum but i feel it could help me by writing exactly what im feeling. Recently my wife and I have made a lot of changes in our lives, you see we are expecting our first child, we both traded in our cars, we let go of our trailer we were renting which was low pay nice area and close to my work. House sitting for my sister while her familys out of town for the next 8-9 month's or so due to there business (all expenses paid) everything seemed to be going great for us. Now the FML part of the story. My mom has been diagnosed with cancer, it's been a while already and when they first found it they removed a tumor from her brain, and she was supposed to follow up with chemo which she never did, shes an alcoholic who smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day with a tough it out attitude. I know i might be painting a bad picture of her but she is actually the sweetest most caring person i know she's helped strangers off the streets countless times and has helped other family members money wise or by giving them places to stay, and i always hated it because i could see how much they took advantage of her. With all that being said within the last 3 months she has developed 9 more brain masses and is having stroke like symptoms, with very little strength, she's hard to understand and it's killing me wishing i could do more, feeling guilty when i feel like i can't be excited for the birth of my son, at the rate my mom is deteriorating I wouldnt be surprised if she passes on the day he's born, which my wife is passed her due date so it could be any day now. My wife and I are no strangers to death having been to nearly 20 funerals (all family) within the 12 years we've been together including both her parents and my dad, so part of me even feels guilty like I've buiilt up an immunity to sadness, i should be feeling more hurt with the situation but i feel like it might not be affecting me as much because I'm closest with my mom, my sisters on the road a lot working and my brother lives a state over and rarely visits so its always been me there at hospital visits or during holidays. I just fill like i need a better way to cope with all this, when im not at work i spend my time with my mom at the hospital but it feels like once i leave from there "it's back to normal life" and it kills me thinking how can i be living normal while shes getting weaker and weaker.
It's Ok if you hate me, I hate me too.

I'm now 30 years old. I never imagined myself being this old, and still can't. The worst part is that my biological prime is behind me, my body will now steadily lose its functionality over the course of many decades. And it's already happening. Over the past year and a half, I've lost my ability to get by on just 5 or 6 hours of sleep every night. My eyesight and memory are also not quite as sharp as they used to be. And it's only going to get worse from here on out. Depressing.

The world I grew up in and loved is slowly being demolished and rebuilt by a new social order that seems to revolve around finding the next petty thing to be triggered by. Between the constant flood of toxicity and negativity, and the needless politicizing of damn near everything in existence, I've chosen to avoid interacting with most people except for immediate family and a few close friends. I used to care deeply about the future of humankind and the survival of the species, but I just can't bring myself to care anymore. Depressing

By sleeping so little, you're actually ensuring those memory issues happen! Your body needs rest.

Good God, one foot in the grave already!

Your biological prime is not behind you: it's only how much work you're willing to put into staying healthy. I have an NCO that didn't get serious about exercise until he was 32: he's 38 now, and the last time he tried out for Selection, the only thing that prevented him from going was a lack of slots (the cadre were willing to do a lot to FIND him a slot, but he bowed out due to home issues).

This is a momentary crisis. Don't worry about: being thirty and beyond is not what you think it is. It's actually not that different from being 20-30, only now you're jaded.

Life seems of little value to me, right now. For starters, it seems like i've lost any ability to connect with people,WHATSOEVER.Having conversations is not a problem for me,but, due to the environment of my workplace, (which constitutes 90% of all my interactions with people) they've become progressively more meaningless and redundant.

Since i've started working as a carpenter, roughly 1.5 years ago, i literally switched all my conversation to a sort of "auto-pilot",in order to fit in with the horde. It doesn't matter if i am talking about football or politics or philosophy, whatever, all the people around me (including university students,or so called "scholars") seems interested in utterly meaningless things, thus leading me to lower the conversation to lighter tones.

Some of them tell me to "Light up!" or "Why so serious?111". Well, if i were to really lighten myself up, i wouldn't do it in the way they expected..and they probably wouldn't like it,so to speak...

This is leading me to madness. I just can tolerate ignorance and frivolousness for so much.

I hate this unending cycle of "Elan vital" that i found myself trapped.I want out of this Pantagruelian, chaotic, meaningless, petty bourgeoise existence.

My soul strives for better things, adventures, fights, mysteries, where can i find them...? I want to go live innawoods and become a druid. I want to save dragons and slay princesses, fighting Carthaginians as a roman legionaire, witnessing the power of the ancient Chinese emperors...!!

I want a life of magic and fantasy!

Yesterday was my birthday. My sister got mad at me said something very disturbing to me. She said she wanted to slice me open and make me eat one of my organs. -_- Mom and dad are all like don't take what she said so seriously. But, then again my psychotic 19 year old brother threatens me on a daily basis and has said if I ever got pregnant that he would kill me and the baby and my parents say don't take his threats seriously too. -_- Tomorrow when I have therapy I'm telling my therapist about what my sister said. Even though my siblings don't act upon what they say it's still very scary and disturbing. But, then again my sister is almost 23 and every time we go to Walmart she gets lost and it's so fucking embarrassing. Plus, my parents constantly tell her not to do stuff, but she does it anyway. Then when she gets yelled she uses her same old song and dance routine of excuses and deflections and she never changes. And yet they enable by letting her go out with this freak she likes and they refuse to say no to her. She's got a superiority complex and constantly thinks she's better than everyone and that she can eat and dress slutty just because she's thin. Also, she constantly makes fun of my love for Sailor Moon even when I don't even mention it. Next time she says something disturbing I'm gonna personally make sure that she gets hospitalized cause I've had enough of her bullshit.

So, a little while ago I tried to let the dog in my brother's bedroom. The little fucker then proceeded to pull a knife out and threaten me with it. I'm screaming and crying cause my mom won't let me call the cops on him. She thinks me calling the cops is being selfish and that I just wanna draw attention to myself and cause drama. I'll admit that I do want to get the little bastard in trouble though. My dad has threatened to kick him out multiple times but he hasn't followed through with it yet. I hate feeling like a prisoner in my own home and having to fear for my safety. I'd be happy if he got arrested or kicked out and for his knives to be sold to a pawn shop. But, to be brutally honest I'd be happy if he died cause I hate that little white trash scumbag and knowing that he's gonna rot in Hell would make me happy. Some people just deserve to die and my brother is one of those people.

So, since a few months I have a new neighbour (I live in an apartment building), who seemed alright when I first met him. Unfortunately that didn't last long.. .

First, his parents lived with him several weeks and caused a ruckus Every. Single. Night. with slamming doors etc. During this period I mostly saw his parents, while their son was holed up in the apartment  .
When they finally left, he started behaving strangely, slamming doors, stomping around, coming home very late at night (likely drunk), taking showers that lasted ages, turning the heating up to 9,000 (no need to turn on my own heating now, it gets up 20 degrees Celsius with no problem only via the tubes that traverse the building), putting on loud music while showering, etc. Then, added to that came: going to the bathroom at the same time you do (sometimes sounding like he's jerking off :crazytwirl: ), flushing toilets needlessly, slamming closet doors, knocking on the floor/walls, phoning neighbours about to have a party at entirely normal times and threatening to call the cops, blaming everyone but himself for the noise he makes, complaining about normal apartment building noise while being an ass on the phone when being phoned about complaints, disregarding advises to limit his own noise and hear less of others' noise, drilling/hammering at night, etc.
I think he has problems with all his neighbours and it seems to be escalating. Lately he seems to have added ringing at doors in the middle of the night and early morning, and faking leaving his own apartment (just to slam the front door twice) to his repertoire...fuckwit.

Unfortunately he lives above me. He has made me decide to move out. However, due to my financial situation that currently isn't possible. :(

(Moments where you realize your upstairs neighbour is not all there in his head: You accidentally close a door loudly, and he starts dropping the same object to the floor every couple of minutes and not doing anything else...for 1.5 hours in total :crazytwirl: )

Yeah, it's pretty much the same in here, but the problem is that the guy seems to know exactly how far he can go to not get caught, and when he gets called upon it he simply denies any wrongdoing and blames everyone else. Although he now seems to be trying to prevent parties during the day (12 o'clock in the afternoon today), so I wonder how much longer it will take before someone alerts the cops because they get fed up with him (or he gets beaten up).

Still debating whether I should buy a security cam to see whether it's possible to catch him ringing at my door at night...

...or perhaps his health will do the job for us, since he's been living here he has had a cough and associated breathing issues (asthma? lung cancer?) that's gradually been getting worse and worse...and he doesn't go to the doctor for it (attempt at a Darwin Award?)...

Go for the security cam. Or let your other neighbours testify against him as well, that could do the job.
And if that doesnt help, theres always the option to wait for him to show up and then get him in person

He's already on a watch list, and has already had a chat with the representative of the apartment owners' union after having the brilliant  idea of drilling in the wall at half past eleven in the evening, right after receiving a lengthy phone call about complaints about noise  (at which point I complained about his behaviour). Seemingly he has problems with all his neighbours...

Of course, after having been told he can't drill in the walls late at night, he now figures it's fine to vacuum late at night, right up to ten 'o clock because that's the hour after which people can legitimately complain to the cops...

However, his upstairs neighbours have a small child who has just entered the "grab things and let 'em drop"-stage  . The kid has been in their living room dropping things up to a certain hour in the evening for the whole of the week until now :emogendo: . And since psycho-neighbour apparently can't stand even the smallest noise himself, he ragequits his apartment when he hears the kid. :D

And he has serious allergy issues: he gets sneezing and coughing fits whenever there's even a whiff of anything irritating in the air (cleaning agents, glue, soap...). Did I mention our apartment building is right next door to a park with a lot of grass and other flowering plants, and there's also a row of trees in front of it that are known to release a lot of air-borne pollen to which people are allergic? :nyao:

A friend of mine wrongfully got permabanned at the Sailor Moon forum where the evil bitchy female admin is at. What happened was that he politely PMed her asking why she deleted a post in a thread. She didn't even respond to him, so instead of replying back she permabanned him. Also, one of my other friends is an admin at this forum and he told us that she lied to two others admins and said that my friend cursed at her when he didn't. He's even got the screencap to prove his innocence. I really wish that they would just unban my friend and permaban and strip this cunt of her admin/founder status. I really fucking hate people like her who are cyberbullies who abuse their admin power constantly.

Yay, psycho-neighbour seems to be going into real psycho mode now  . After getting pissed off at someone helping him put a piece of furniture in his flat and then at a (fairly quiet) party last evening and spending the whole evening slamming doors and flushing toilets, this morning doing much of the same mixed with repeated showers (three in an hour), he's just had a blistering row with someone female (who probably came to complain about earlier noise) and it sounded like it may have come to blows :cringe: . There also was a screaming kid.

So I guess the next ones to get involved will be the cops...
