[Game] GOS Hidden (actually not) Nude Mana Pic

I was decompressing the original GOS's game files to have a look at the backgrounds and the like when I discovered this beast of an image. Which brings me to the question, is this in the actual game or is it a hidden "easter egg" of sorts. I only played through it once and got the Kaji ending so I'm unsure if it is or not. Also, yowza! Hope this image isn't too lewd for Evageeks standards. Furthermore, I had to censor this image since her nipples were shown, FYI.

Yeah, yours is probably from the PS2 version, I presume. I'm unsure, though. But the PS2 version did fix up the lines on all of the games assets like how they did with GOS2, FYI. Also, I probably should have mentioned it but the pic I posted is from the original PC release.

Never did I, my heart went doki doki when I saw it. Also, I can assure you that Ayanami Raising Project does not have such "easter eggs" within its game files. I heavily checked.

This isn't a new discovery; I've seen it before, probably on THAT BOARD, some time around a decade ago. The first obvious mention I could find is here.

Anyhow, I thought it was interesting how with, um, ending 2 I guess it was, Mana flashes Shinji. (She took a shower at Misato's place.) Wonder if that means anything "happened"?

Yeah, I know it was on the net already. Did an image search and found it on a bunch of places (mostly in foreign languages) before I posted. But I wasn't sure if it was brought up here or not. Still, it's odd that the developers just left this in the game files.

FYI, Asuka's hair is just a different layer during that scene.

I thought that they would throw on some clouds or sun glare when she reveals herself to Shinji, but it seems they just went full fanservice. Though it is done very quickly in the actual game.

Rule of thumb with the Eva games: PC versions include nudity that the Playstation ports later censor (sun glare, etc)...I guess had Shinji Ikari Raising Project ever been Playstation/Nintendo-ported, some Shinji butt shots would have been covered up.

This was always part of the game, pretty much part of the normal storyline. Once you played through it, it would be accessible through the main menu.
