Yes. They also play a MIDI version of It's Not Unusual by Tom Jones when I visited

I'm not surprised -- the entertainment moguls running the industry, being so stuck in the 60s, tend to be insular, proprietary and charge exorbitant fees and contracts for outsiders to use and distribute their media.

Not surprised with yet another anti-nuclear protest in the form of an impromptu pop group. Trying to get a heavily industrialized nation to use anything other than nuclear energy is a very difficult task.

Normally, I would just go on with life, like having done one playthrough and going for another with a different twist... But this particular guy kept his cart and SNES on for 20 years, without a break, determined to keep his game data alive as long as he's breathing:

http://en.rocketnews24.com/2015/10/13/hardcore-gamer-refuses-to-let-game-save-die-leaves-his-super-nes-on-for-almost-two-decades/

What a shitstorm would make if someone accidentally unplugged his SNES.

^ Did he use a UPS or is he in one of the rare areas of the world where power failures never happen?

Either of those options are possible, plus the use of residential solar or wind power, because he's very fanatical about his gamesave, and will do anything to keep it there until his or the SNES' number is up.

If hollywood has taught me anything, it's that robots can't be ninjas because they can't move without making vrrrp vrrrp noises.

Assuming that there could be one of us practicing law, how many months or years she'll be facing if found guilty?

Otherwise it's unfortunate she wound up like this, followed by the unrelenting scrutiny of the press (in Japan it's known that news reports often analyze incidents down to the minutiae of details, as if to make up whether the defendant is guilty or not... that is, trial by publicity).

That's hilarious when you consider the character she voiced was a weed ninja.

Seriously. Doing/possessing drugs in Japan is one of the stupidest things you could do. The entire Japanese police force has a ZERO tolerance policy.

Conviction rates are very high, I was told. Moreso if there's trial by media given by the local newsies.

Talk about method acting. Otherwise mere possession is, career-wise, a death sentence: permanently blackballed from ever working in the entertainment industry. Given the disparity between sexes there, often men entertainers get off the hook more easily than women, especially with so-called relationship scandals.
