As of now I'm also hoping for a redesigned PS4 controller. I finished up my first playthrough of AC Unity today, and my left thumb was constantly slipping off that tiny analog stick. I've had this problem with the dualshock 3 as well, but never this bad. I had to re-adjust my thumb every few minutes during the chase sequences. The battery life is way too short as well, they seriously need to add a way to turn off the speaker and that stupid blue light on the front. The plastic shell needs improvement too, it's way too thin and feels flimsy.
It might be a long shot, but according to Gamespot 2 new PS4 models might be showing up at E3 (their SKUs have just been filed), so maybe they will be accompanied by a new controller.

I heard some rumors of a new Xbone controller (not with major changes, some headphone thing) but nothing about a new DS4 and i don't think they will change it.
As for new SKUs, there are some online retailers that are already listing PS4 and Xbone with 1TB HDD.

More evidence that kh3 will be there in some capacity.
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

Personally for some minutes after the conference i was wondering if i was dreaming.
The holy trinity appeared. People joked about them in a way like these games will never be announced or released and all of them happened in the same place.
1. The Last Guardian is alive and is looking great.
2. Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development.
3. Shenmue 3 after all these years will be released in 2017.
Even if your are not a fan of these games you must admit that this was the best day of gaming news EVER. Sony had the best conference of all time in E3 and i can't see how this will be ever topped.

You are most certainly not!
It's only that I can only type so fast. (So many live topics here as a result of E3, so little time.) And, to some extent, also that DX:MD had already been announced prior to E3. I read about it quite a while ago in Game Informer, in fact -- speaking of which I never finished that article because I don't like having too much information about a game I'm excited for before I play it lest it fill my head with inaccurate expectations (a devil that has ruined far too many games for me, only some of which ever recovered).
But I know enough to believe they've learned their lessons from DX:HR's mistakes -- and I loved that game.
