According to Wikipedia, the Evangelion franchise grossed over 150 billion yen (about 1.44 billion dollars). However, this number appears to include everything: series, movies, manga, rebuilds, games, and (possibly) other merchandise.
I would like to know: how much money did the TV series and the first 2 movies (D&R and EoE, not the Rebuilds) each make? If possible, I would also like to know how much they made in each country (especially Japan and the US).
Sources would be greatly appreciated.
