This has probably been posted somewhere before, sorry if it has.
The following scenes get me every single time I rewatch eva:
- Unit 03 gets thrashed by Unit 01. (18)
- An aware Unit 01 howls upon ingesting the S^2 engine. (19)
- Misato breaks down upon hearing Kaji's message. (21)
- Asuka says "I've still got 12,000 plates of fortified armor! And I've got my AT field!" (25')
- Asuka performs her "I'll kill you" mantra before being speared by the remaining MPs. (25')
- Shinji talks with Yui in Instrumentality before bursting out of GNR's eye in Unit 01. (26')
Every time. They just give me shivers. The one inspiring the most potent feelings is easily the one with Misato. I'm not sure why.
Anyone else?

Rei's line "I am not your doll"
and Asuka's mind rape scene...where the doll and little girl Asuka are like "Liar"
The "Kill you all" thing and "I don't wanna die" things are pretty intesnse...
nd my favorite...is in ep 26 with Shinji's "My life is worth existing"...that always gives me that funny warm feeling inside

I'd say the duel with the 10th Angel. Three Eva Units allocated to where Misato's instuition wanted. That's one of the best fights I'd say.

- When Shinji staggers backwards into the Eva lift in horror as Misato smiles him on, then the doors slam shut and he ends up breaking down crying as the lift ascends.
-The entire End of Instrumentality sequence with that beautiful piece of music, especially Rei's ghostly image staring at Eva-01.
Those two are especially shivery moments.
