Poor? I'd say lucky.

He's a SEELE agent after all so he's a bad guy which kinda makes him deserve to die, but having the privilege to be stomped upon by one of the majestic Mass Produced Evas?

Having the honor to die by the foot of a God?

That lucky bastard.

Lol, I'm talking BS of course. But it's kinda funny to see that SEELE don't give a shit about collateral damage. "You just some goon we hired, your life ain't worth shit!"

That's not exactly goons they have hired, they're actually JSSDF shock troopers sent by the Japanese government manipulated by SEELE.

And SEELE never gave a shit about collateral damage, since for them everyone who died will still be recuperated by Lilith once Instrumentality starts, killing of half of the planetary population 15 years ago to start their prophecy should have already convinced you of that!

Guy was actually JSSDF soldier on heroic mission to "stop NERV from annihilating humanity". SEELE tricked Japanese Government into doing their dirty work.
ran1: Oh gosh this sentence gave me an internet boner. You're so tsundere.
Mugwump: Goddamn it, Xard! Take me in your arms, you magnificent sex god bastard!
And don't forget to wear the Ran mask.
Eva Yojimbo: You really are the Otaku equivalent of a Catholic and Jew rolled up into one giant dakimakura of guilt.
Gob Hobblin: Sanctimonious, subtly racist, vaguely misogynist, somehow says something while at the same time saying...nothing, really, at all....

Nice, Xard. That's nice.

As its already been mentioned JSSDF is not SEELE, its Japan's Army IRL. Plus, the answer is yes, I've noticed that guy every time and thought the same thing.
Is the 3.0 spoiler policy gone?.... Cool, then I'm nominating myself as EvaGeeks 1# Sakura Suzuhara fan/nerd.

I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

I never even realized what it was stepping on. Damn, but I wish there was a better transfer out there.

They're actually 2 of them... One is carrying his injured friend, probably saying " Lucky we escaped that red Eva, huh?"

Given one is atop the other it seems more like a passionate last hump...

I think I noticed that about the third or fourth time I watched EoE, which is surprising because the picture quality on my television isn't all that  But, yea, those MPEs are sooo brutal. I hate them and their tongues :harpy_liplick:

And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

The MPEs are misunderstood. They only want to know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Kyoko-pop.

 Holy Shit, I never noticed that!

At least in Rebuild the shelter was conveniently evacuated before EVA-02's head crash in it, besides that would have been very awkward if Mari started to talk to Shinji with chunky salsa people encrusted on the Eva chin!

... and then almost everyone dies during the time skip. Damn you Anno! :fistshake:

Hey, some people are left alive. I'm sure there are still some babies left, to be killed in Final.
