In context of Q it DOES sound like a foreshadowing of the future shitstorm, (maybe even timeskip) and lessons that are forced down ours and Shinji's throats. Also it was played during the last battle where Asuka, Shinji ans Rei fought side by side. Their last combat as a team.

The wires holding Yui, looks almost like wings pointed upwards, while Eva's shoulder pads, become wings pointed upwards. And while Yui's pose of crossed arms speaks of descend, Eva's streched arms speaks of ascension.


Was Gendo trying to build Eva 13 even more resembling Yui than Eva 01? Since Eva 01 now contains both Yui and Rei, it may get... crowdy there. Will he try to transfer her soul to new/better/more accurate body? Already did and Fuyutsuki lied about that part?

I'm just wild guessing here, but those things wouldn't stop nagging me

Depends on whether or not there's already a perfectly good and devoted thread where you can post observations about something. Why post something you noticed about a particular topic in a potpourri thread where it will quickly be buried, when you can put it somewhere where it will be far more accessible?

I found that the air-suspended Nerv HQ upside-down pyramid had a good resemblance and throw back to Ramiel in 1.11, even (I think) being within the same location. Possible that Gendo's counter-Wunder is a recreated Ramiel? (I know Ramiel melted and all)

Maybe the inverted pyramid is Ramiel's pants?

You can listen to "breath" sounds throughout the Wunder (same as Lilith in 1.11 and Giant head on the old headquarters).
This sound appears even in the hallway where Asuka runs and in the "trapdoor" while she sees Mark.09 leaving ...

However, I watched the movie again and realized that there is a lot of "recycled sounds", especially the Zeruel explosions effects.
