Eat More Fruit

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

Oh my.

I don't like fruit a lot because I tend to dislike sweet food in general, but I made it a habit to eat it at least twice a week. It gives me energy and lifts my mood.

I passed authorship to a friend (Lia Dospetti) who's turning it into her own work, while still maintaining homages to NGE and Transformers, as well as Star Trek. I still draw the artworks, though, and I have some fragments of the old fanfic here.

But fruit are sour (or at least sweet/sour) unless they've over-ripened.

Actually too much fruit is not really recommended since they are rich in their own kind of sugar, which shouldn't be consumed excessively just like regular sugar. Veggies on the other hand can and should be eaten in copious amounts.

Well technically fruit like apples and oranges are just parts of a plant so your still eating a vegetable sort of.

But yes, this is a trix rabbit topic

Apples are amazing, 'specially with peanut butter. I also enjoy pears, pineapple, strawberries, avocados, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Blueberries, raspberries, honeydew, and tomatoes are alright too. I will eat bananas, strictly for the potassium. I dislike grapes.

I have trouble eating apples due to my permanent retainers. Cutting them up into slices is too much trouble and the taste isn't worth it. I guess I never really liked apples that much anyway.

My usual late breakfast on working days -- especially after cycling -- is a banana toastie : two slices lightly buttered toast, and then slice a banana lengthwise into two, then crosswise at about the 2/3 mark and make 3 stripes across one slice, cover with the other, eat while still warm.

If there are mango chunks on display in the supermarket prepared fruit, then I'll have that at lunch, otherwise maybe melon pineapple mango mix. Plums, peaches or nectarines if I don't fancy pineapple that day. Strawberries or cherries in season; raspberries occasionally.

Apples from the garden go in pies, either spiced with sultanas or with blackberries from the hedgerows; plums either raw or in pies, or later from the freezer into crumbles. Otherwise, grapes only go with cheese at the end of a big meal out.

Tomatoes sliced in cheese and onion baps are a staple lunch; or with avocado and mozzarella as a main course salad on a hot day.

Mandarins/satsumas/clementines are things to nibble between meals.

Chilis and capsicums go in most cooking from scratch.
