Happy Holidays Everyone!

With November and Thanksgiving behind us, it's time to look forward to the spirited Christmas season!

Boy, it's gonna be a weird one this year, what with the Mayan Calender going out, but that's no reason to lose our Christmas spirit!

It's a time of Joy, Giving, Friends, Family, Love, Snow, Mistletoe, Gifts, Icing, Fruitcakes, Turkey, Big-Fat-Guys-In-Red-Suits, Caroling, Hazardous Shopping, Egg Nog, Spiked Egg Nog, Menorahs, Jesus, Bishounen Jesuses, and Last but not least, Asuka's Birthday! :toothy:

It's gonna be a heck of a month this year, so we better get cracking for the big day.

So, to pass the time, what do you guys do for the Holidays and what does Christmas mean to you?

For the past two years - and it will be the same this year - the Christmas season has been crunch time for college applications. It's a long story.... My grandfather usually flies in from Italy and spends the holidays with us, but I'm not sure he's feeling fit to make the trip this year. I'll probably make time to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas sometime this month.

I´m setting up the tree right now. Portimão no longer has decorations because of the crisis, but my house is going to be well decorated! ^_^

This is my first Christmas I'll have in my first apartment, and I'll probably be working. What I'm mostly looking forward to in the holidays is my month's vacation from school, which will make working during that time much more bearable (I might also be in line for a promotion, if all goes well). With my time off I think I might marathon NGE, as I have recently reacquired my perfect edition box set, and immerse myself in FFVII, which I recently spoiled myself with (for $45!) since I haven't played it through all the way yet.

That one month vacation sounds nice. Did you buy the original PS1 version of FFVII? I think it's available for download over PSN for a third of that price, but you can't really beat the feeling of playing a game on its original console! I'll probably have more time to dedicate to anime/games once January comes around. I am planning to watch all of the NGE English dubs at some point....
