A friend and I are working together on a whole record of songs inspired by Evangelion. We've got about 3 tracks in the bag to shoot off to our vocalist, thinking probably 3 or 4 more.

I'd love to, but I don't understand "Video Editing" any further than "Delete movies from mvoie folder when hard drive is running low on space."

I suppose this is a good time and excuse to learn iMovie.

Also, there's a VERY special surprise that I think you folks will get a kick out of, but I don't want to give any hints. Now, you might ask, "Hey Squiidboy, what kind of surprise could this possibly be? You are full of shit, Mister Squiid." I simply smile smugly, because I have a goodie that's gonna knock your socks off.

Also free internet cookie to anyone who can figure out what Doll is about and the perspective it's from. A big goal we had here was to make these songs inspired by Eva, but that nobody would ever realize that's what it was unless they'd watched the series at least several times. I think we're doing good.

I couldn't make out a few of the lyrics, but it sounds like it's from Rei's perspective, with the "little man" being Gendou. He thought he had Rei "under his thumb" the entire time, but Rei defied Gendou in End of Evangelion, shattering his hopes of reuniting with Yui in the process.

The end bit sounds like the Gendou's confrontation with Unit-01 during Instrumentality. I guess the thought of an Eva Unit singing never occurred to me. Great job with this one! Can't wait to hear the finished vocals!

...And now I can't stop picturing Unit-01 drunkenly handling the mic during an Evangelion Karaoke Night.... Thanks for this wonderful image! XD

Let me just put it this way. If you could pick a special vocalist for your zany Evangelion concept album, who isn't Yoko Takahashi or a voice actor form the show, or Loren & Mash, then that's who we've got. And because we got her, we wrote all the songs for a female voice from a female perspective.
