I'm pretty sure I once had a dream where a new Evangelion game had been released for the PS3 in the US (as in a real eva game, not one of those pachinko games). I was at a store and had just bought it when I woke up. Massive letdown.

More of a daydream than dream post.

Okay, so I spend about 3 to 5 hours a day driving around in a company truck. There's no CD player or MP3 jack, and usually my phone is occupied with being a GPS device. So I listen to the radio a lot. Which means I now have far more knowledge of modern pop music tonight ever wanted to possess. Such as when one radio station plays a pop song, every other station, including its rivals, will play the same damn song.

My coping mechanism: shoehorning Evangelion characters into the songs.

For exakple: Shake It Off by Taylor Swift (Jesus tapdancing Christ, that song...).

On its own, it is a substandard, generic, dumb, maybe a little bit fun song. It gets old real fast. But, add in Misato dancing and lip-synching to it in Ritsuko's office while the latter is trying to work, and it becomes infinitely more enjoyable.

Daydreaming about Evangelion: helping people cope with the work day since Second Impact.

Oh man, I could almost bet that Taylor Swift has a deal with the Devil for making catchy pop songs that haunts you forever. But, I hope that someone with the best AMV powers make your daydream come true.

It'd be awesome, Chamuca...that, or some ambitious animation student. Bonus points if they throw Maya in there trying to stay unnoticed. Until she gets pulled into Misato's shenanigans, of course.

I have a better day dream that goes with Midnight Oil's Beds Are Burning. That one is a bit involved to type on a phone though.

Not exactly a dream that I had related to the show per se but I had a dream in which I got super pissed at Anno for stating flat out loud that he hates the English dub used for the show and movies so after being held down from knocking him out cold, I swore out loud that I would never watch anything Eva related again. Must be a manifestation of my own current feelings towards the ever present delay in new Eva material and me begging for a fix. :hahaha:

It's a pretty corny dream but:

Shinji, Misato and Gendo rode on a rocket ship to the moon.

When I awoken, I spend a good while laughing @ how dumb it was

I genuinely love how good Evangelion hurts

Last night I dreamed with Asuka and Shinji in Misato's apartment, it was like watching an episode, they were arguing in Japanese, suddenly Shinji said something to her and she smiled with genuine honesty, I almost melt from the cuteness of the scene.

BTW later in that dream Snoopy, Hobbes and other popular fictional characters were having a party. I swear that I don't take any drugs.

I have only dreamed about Evangelion once a while back where i find myself inside a pink EVA (i'm not to sure why it was that colour as well) where for pretty much the whole entirerty of the dream i was just analysing myself very similar to how Shinji does in the series. It was a rather horrible dream and afterwards i woke up feeling rather uneasy. Not something i want to experience again i can tell you that.

I had a dream that the Eva cast were playing with pinball machines. And loosing badly.

Then it turned into throttling the writers of Rebuild to death. I'm a little disturbed by that.

I'd take another five year break from the franchise in general, but I'd probably come back to it all hopeful and optimistic again and get emotionally crushed again.
I'm not sure what I feel about Eva anymore, but I'm pretty sure I don't actually enjoy the series anymore.

So a couple of days ago I had this dream there was this Evangelion spin-off RPG game: all the Eva characters were it it but they were J-RPG character archetypes, so Shinji was the warrior and Rei was the healer.

So Shinji had this pre-scripted bit with Asuka, who he meets at this tavern and they are sort of flirting and the other characters there are commenting on how 'cute' it is, and they both blush and yell that they aren't flirting.

Then it went into a 'daydream' or maybe it skipped forward (I'm not sure) to Shinji and Asuka in this bedroom on opposite ends of the room sort of half-undressed trying to tell the other to come of ("Why don't you come over here?" "Why do you come over here?" )

Then I woke up. It was cute. ^_^

I think so. It was about a week ago so my memory is kind of fuzzy. Shinji was wearing armour and Rei had on a cleric robe. I don't remember what JRPG character archetype Asuka was supposed to be. Maybe the fire mage.

So Rei was the healer, the one party member you absolutly need to keep alive? Oh dear.

I had a weird dream... I wouldn't exactly call it an Eva dream but Shinji and Asuka did put in apperences...

Okay so there was this island. And a bunch of people on this island. And also the Mega Stones from Pokemon. And when someone touched one of the Mega Stones it turned them into that Mega Pokemon, but made them crazy. so people were touching these stones, turning into Pokemon and fighting. And Shinji and Asuka were two of them. Shinji got turned into a Mega Sableeye, and I don't remember what Asuka got turned into. That's all there was for them.

Then it was at this command center in the Soviet Union. Yes, the USSR, not Russia. And this American general was talking to the Soviet general, because if the transformed people will cause nukes to be fired everywhere.

So eventually some one who's been turned into some sort of psychic pokemon beats everyone else, except this monk. Frier Tuck looking monk, not a buddist monk. The monk is running away when he accidently touches the Slowbro Mega stone, and turns into mega-Slowbro. And owns the other guy in two Hydro Pumps.

Then back at the command center the American and Soviet generals are talking about how the Mega-Slowbro Monk fixed everything, turning everyone back to normal, and making it so using the stones wouldn't make people go crazy and stopping the missile launch.

So apparently Mega-Slowbro rocks and I have to hurry up and get one.
I'm not sure what I feel about Eva anymore, but I'm pretty sure I don't actually enjoy the series anymore.

That's a very weird dream to reflect your desire on getting a Mega-Slowbro.

 I could give it shot but my skills at drawing the characters on model is wonky at best. I'm not good at drawing a lot of little details like armour and weaponry (that's my brother's forte) but who knows?

I'm not promising anything, though. I'm hard to motivate.

The traditional RPG archtypes were Fighter, Thief, and Mage. Though Cleric was added later, and used a lot just because a dedicated healer was so essential.

Note sure about what J-RPGs did, but Thieves (and Paladins) only got added in Greyhawk.[/pedant]
