Shinji and Asuka AIDS Commercial

Hey everyone. Not sure if this question has already been addressed at some point in time, but after watching the commentary on Episode 2 of the first disc of the NGE Platinum Collection, Spike Spencer and Matt Greenfield mention something about Tiffany Grant and himself, Spike Spencer, doing a commercial of sorts, for the radio or otherwise, about AIDS awareness while in their characters of Asuka and Shinji, but that never took off. Spike Spencer mentions that he thinks the recording might pop up on the internet at some point in time, and I'd be curious to listen to it. Apparently they are engaged mid-coitus and for various and numerous reasons, I express and interest in finding and listening to this recording where ever it may be, haha. I'm pretty sure others would be interested in listening to this as well. If anybody would be kind enough to point me to a link where I could listen to it legally, or purchase said file, it would be greatly appreciated, because I have scoured the internet in search of it (Though maybe not very well). Just as long as it is legal, although I would not know why it wouldn't be. ... Also, if anybody has heard it previously I would be interested to hear your take on the matter, haha. Thanks all.

... Edit ... ---> I have just emailed Spike Spencer regarding the recording. Hopefully I will get response in some amount of time, haha, but I will share it with you as soon as I get a response. And hopefully I don't fall after thousands of letters of fan mail in one big line, haha. I'll let you all know what I find as soon as possible. : )

I'd imagine that one of the characters in question got AIDS from the massive human blob of Tang. It'd probably travel pretty quickly in there.

can't seem to find anything on Google but a few results turned up similar questions on various anime boards but none seemed to have been answered with links. You may want to try and get in touch with Spike Spencer through one of his websites maybe he knows where you can find it.

Asuka wouldn't be much of a poster child for an AIDS commercial, given her, uh, frequent attempts to give her body away to known Casanovas, and any attempts of Shinji's to get her to take safety precautions would fall short in a similar manner to his qualms about kissing out of boredom.

I think she's aware of the practicalities; and there's one sexually transmitted condition she's on record as wanting to avoid:

Oh, right. Forget what I said.
Still, I think she'd probably be the type to take the pill.

Probably, she started doing it an an early age to convince herself of how adult she is.

Oh, forget it all. All of it. You win. I can practically picture Asuka gesturing with her index finger, showing off how much she knows about Sex ed stuff and lecturing Shinji about it.

As for Shinji himself, I mantain that he should be reasonable enough to think of using one, but probably wouldn't have the streght of character to strongly insist on it if the other party didn't feel like it... then again, Asuka's opinion of his reason skills and intelligence was never too high, so she'd lecture him anyway...

In any case, I'd like to hear this if it exists, if just for the lol factor.

I just got a response back from Spike Spencer, and he says that unfortunately, he does not have access to the recording, but he recalled how funny it was, which only makes me want to hear it more, haha. He said it was a PSA, but I still have no idea where to go about accessing this material. Any other ideas anybody?!

Find out the company that recorded it. They might still have a copy lying around unless they made like the BBC.
