Edit: Ignore this thread.

I missed the first blood stain from the neck:
Spoiler:

Pictures show the front of the moon is clean, but once the camera pulls behind the moon, in its top-right, there's a smaller blood mark.
Again, the front of the moon is clean.

So where does this smaller stain come from?

Spoiler:

The stain is in the sky, not one the moon's surface, is it not?

Watch it again, it shows you the blood hitting the moon's surface in this screenshot:

Oh. Thank you, I was confused. It did look as though it was in the sky to me.

Do we know for a fact that it's hitting the moon? I could never make sense out of that shot.

It looks like that's the case in that third-to-last picture. In addition, so much of Lilith's blood spurted out that it's more than likely it reached the moon's surface.

It's best not to think about this too hard, as the physics involved are silly no matter how you look at it. Even with the most generous assessment of GNR's scale at that point (i.e., continental scale) the distance between the Earth and the Moon is such that the notion of blood shot from GNR's neck actually reaching the moon is ludicrous. The notion of someone on Earth actually being able to see it is even worse.

Seriously, the moon is 238,857 miles away from Earth, which is around 15 times the Earth's diameter. GNR was supposed to be, what, 80 miles in height or so? That means the blood has to travel around 30,000 times as far as she is tall to get to the moon. That's . . . dumb. Really, really dumb. Like I said, best not to think about it.
