If this has been addressed already please delete.

This is some pretty wild stuff though and I wonder if they would have eliminated her in this fashion or if it would have been part of some scary dream sequence in the plug (most likely while within Unit 3).
Personally, I'm fine with disturbing stuff like this but when they flayed Shinji, it looked like all he did was turn red so it may have been better that it was dropped.

Yep, it has been discussed, 1731298478 also translated the associated interview.
So let’s make a wish.

Hmm...interesting. Could this foreshadow some possible Asuka vs. Kaworu conflict?

Ew, that is very gross. If it were a dream sequence or something I wouldn't care but if they kept that in the movie as something hat actually happens to her or if they add it to the new ones it would have/will make me very upset. While the movies are a little grotesque at times, completely facially mutilating a character like that would just be distasteful and kind of... Cheap? I don't know, but just doing something so outright icky like that doesn't seem like that great of an idea. Sure, Eva does have its fair share of icky, but that's just going overboard.

Well, I'd agree except that End of Evangelion has one or two scenes that already set the bar pretty high for lack of taste and general ickiness. Plus I think it was supposed to mirror Shinji's face coming off at the end of 2.0.
Why do they even want the Loc-Nar? All it does is melt you.

Alaska Slim already hypothesised it somewhere in the old pic thread, I don't know if he was completely serious, though.
