Gaijin Goombah has real talk about why he thinks Moe is killing the Anime industry and the bigger social issue that is making Moe anime so popular in the first place.

Time to drag out the appropriate response

Don't bet on it. "Kawaii" is such an ingrained part of Japanese culture that
there's no chance of it ever fading away. Maybe it's genetic. :)

Well, there was a picture of Rei for a second or so. But basically, I think he is simply telling us that he is so distracted by Moe that he can't see the rest of the show; and that's his problem, not mine.

Nah - as one of those (few?) who actually like it, I can take his dislike in my stride! And it's not as though he doesn't have some good things to say about it on the way.

CoS didn't need his help in my case, as I found it thoroughly dissatisfying on its own merits.

Meh. I can at least be somewhat sympathetic when you try to make an argument, but this is just crazy talk.

So in my Star Wars geekery, I stumbled upon a channel called Auralnauts. They do redubbing and edits of films, and their content is really entertaining. I'm dropping by because I had to share their video of Bane from TDKR doing freestyle hip-hop: https://youtu.be/fLFAXvFYhsE

They also redubbed and cut the Star Wars saga up to ep IV, building it's own story, starting here: https://youtu.be/WSCm8yAxBr8
"Chaos is merely a human construct. The world only knows its own natural law of harmony and order."
"So you are saying it's the human heart that throws the world into confusion."

Quicksilver Bolts into Death Battle

Rubbish character intro, even if it is just a quickie promo, but the comment section (as is the case with most “Death Battle” videos) is delicious.
Normally it's the result of the battle that gets flak, not the match-up itself. I'm loving the utter lack of support for Quicksilver.

The guy who said he wanted Charmander vs. Godzilla nailed it. Who would even consider such a matchup? It's like having a weightlifting competition between Spider-Man and the Hulk.

Now, Northstar vs. the Flash? I dunno. Flash is still faster, but Northstar has some other tricks up his sleeve that might make a matchup between the two interesting.

I don't know, if anybody of you cares, but me and my band uploaded a parody video of a popular German song, and it already garnered some views.
Don't expect a cinematic experience, we filmed it ourselves, lol.
The joke might be lost, since you don't understand German...
But I'll still share it :)

We also did a Knight Rider parody video, which we use as intro for our gigs.
