^ Gotta' to disagree with you there, on two fronts:
1. I agree with what Nostalgia Chick says, in that if you're going to make fun of something, it should generally be out of "love", not "hate". This is similar to the argument for people who decided whether they liked Jole or Mike better on MST3K. Jole was jovial and more laid back, and seemed to enjoy the films even while he poked fun at them, while Mike tended to be more cynical and harder edged about them.
Anger
can be funny, but manufactured or natural, I feel it's really far too saturated in reviewing now-a-days. Heck, to tell the truth, one of my favorite video series from TGWTG is The Sage's video game reviews where he's just plane tone-neutral, managing to pull off humor with just minor inflections, rather than crazed or mouth-foaming antics
and I really wish he'd just stuck to that, as his other reviews tend to suck. 2. The guy is chock full of sweeping generalizations, consistently goes for the weakest or most obvious straw man, beats
that to death, then pretends he's made his point. That video up there there is a perfect example of it, I stopped watching when he started the minority argument. The average person knows such an argument is fictitious, it's just wasting my time hearing him rant about it.
This isn't to say I haven't enjoyed anything he's done, I have, it had it's own fallacies, but the
fat logic video was a riot for me. But videos like that I found tended to be the exception.
