The albums F♯ A♯ ∞ by Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Substance by New Order. I mean ad nauseum levels of repeat on both.

Re: [Music] Songs on repeat
For the last week I've basically only been listening to their Technique. Possibly their best all around album, and definitely their most underappreciated. New Order at their funnest and sexiest. But definitely not their darkest, so I can see why for many people it may not be their jam.
And the Yuri on Ice OP has been on repeat too. 2016: the year of the awesome anime OP.
I used to work in a factory and I was really happy because I could daydream all day -- I.C.
And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

Re: [Music] Songs on repeat
Depends on the stress level. If I'm waaay too stressed, I prefer to just do nothing at all. But if I'm down to the wire or need to study for an exam? Oddly enough, I listen to this:

For the record, I'm not of Welsh descent, and I was born in the United States. I just find it a very catchy tune to listen to when I have to knuckle down and work on academic minutiae.

Re: [Music] Songs on repeat
The Journey Home, the ending song to Ace Combat 5 - The Unsung War
As a bit of context, I tend to browse the Big Orchestral Action Music thread on the ffshrine forums; it's a thread dedicated to uploading and discussing orchestral music featured in films, TV shows, video games, etc. and a lot of what I've been reading in that thread is really fascinating stuff. So, I've been encouraging myself to look up orchestral songs involving certain composers (Shiro Sagisu, Masamichi Amano) or orchestras (Warsaw Philharmonic) that I'm a fan of.
The Journey Home is one of those songs, and I find it incredibly relaxing to listen to. Mary McGlynn's soothing vocals, the beautiful strings, the slow melodies being used; it's a song so good that part of me is tempted to check out the Ace Combat games and see what else I've been missing in terms of music. Damn, why aren't more game composers being asked to do soundtracks for Hollywood movies when they can create music as awe-inspiring as this? Beats the hell outta anything by Zimmer, Giacchino or Williams, if you ask me.
Anyway, back on topic, beautiful song that I think y'all should check out. Hope you enjoy it.
