AkibaStrip is getting an anime adaptation. . .

What is Akiba's Trip? Well. . . It's basically a cross between Persona 4 with the combat mechanics of the Batman Arkham games. The plot centers around Vampires, and apparently the only way to beat them is to expose them to the sunlight. By ripping their clothes off. . .

It's a lot better than it sounds! Trust me!

Eccentric Family is one of the most wonderful shows, I've ever seen. Great to see the staff of S1 return for S2. Simply awesome news.

Why?

Oh, who am I kidding, we all know why. I'm just going to hope there is no CG. Diebuster was good, so it's not like it's guaranteed to fail.

I guess they are starting to follow the Hollywood model of "if it did well before, let's just remake/extend it and save the effort and risk required for originality".

This was my exact reaction. If it actually gets made I imagine I'll enjoy it though, as I enjoy most anime. Positivity!

Yea, this is sweet news. Can't wait to rewatch the series before the second season begins.

Yamamoto stressed that "the end of anime" was a more personal thing for him — "anime has steadily moved the opposite way from what I do." He feels that moe is "becoming Fascist" in the sense that its depiction is controlled by unwritten rules: "Don't show panties. Showing panties is in line with male desires, so let's show them." Yamamoto prefers to operate by his own rules, but gets criticism when he does so and claims he "can't handle the times."

Broken by SJWs (as some might say!), or stuck in a disappearing past? At any rate, it's not anime that's dead, but his relationship with it that's dying.

Wait, Anime is dead because of less panty shots? That's a new one.
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever
