I still have to watch 00, but from what I gathered from playing Gundam Dynasty Warriors 3 & Reborn is that 00 is pretty decent show. Is that an accurate assessment?

00 is my 2nd fav Gundam of them all*, and most people seem to like it, so I would give it shot for sure. I've heard people say the 2nd half is not as good, but I like weird things so I had no issue with it more or less. I do remember the Char clone of the show being somewhat pointless however, although not Neo Roanoke level of pointlessness which was extreme levels of bulls@#t. However, like Code Geass, while I like 00 I'm not sure a sequel is a good idea in the end, but we will see.

*(I have seen everything but AGE in near chronological order and my top 5 are Seed, 00, War in the pocket, Wing, and IBO so take in consideration in deciding if my opinion means anything...... I also love Build Fighters but hate G-fighter.)
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

He was fined a few hundred dollars ¥200,000 for his collection of junior gravure materials, that's all. That all happened a few weeks ago late February. What wasn't obvious at the time was whether his career had also been sunk, in the way that a minor dabbling in drugs has done to other people in the industry.

Even more Shaman King. A spin-off that sounds like it's focusing on the Tao family:

More than a decade after Dennou Coil, it seems that Mitsuo Iso is working on a new project in similar style, Extraterrestrial Boys and Girls, with kids making inventive use of new consumer tech, only this time, in space -- https://natalie.mu/comic/news/282813

This news makes me really happy. Dennou Coil is amazing, and criminally little known. The character animation still is leagues above what we get in average anime. I'm super happy about the fact, that the character design is from the guy who designed the characters in Gundam G Reconquista and Eureka Seven!!! I love his aesthetic. Super happy, very much looking forward to this show.

^ I was actually at the panel yesterday where he announced it and it was a true pleasure. Everyone who worked on NGE are heroes to me, so it was awesome seeing one of them in person. And he seemed like a real nice guy. Unfortunately I haven't watched Dennou Coil yet, but this new series sounds pretty cool indeed... love that character designer!

And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

Oh man, Dennou Coil is a blast to watch. It's vision of the future is still interesting, even if the show is already 10 years old. Maybe because it was prophetic, in a way. The CGI might look a little bit dated, but the overall visual style more than makes up for it! You should give it a try!

While I'm not that hot about the designs, visually this trailer looks very tasty. The music is kinda weird, though.

Score one for the Japanese LBTQ+ community!!! :D To be perfectly honest, I didn't think a lesbian marriage was something allowed in Japan but then again, I don't know how much is too taboo in a country that usually makes use of yuri/yaoi manga/anime and/or hentai to fulfill it's desires. Again, very glad for both of them. ^_^

I think the Shibuya ward hands out certificates, which are not legally binding in Japan or even the rest of Tokyo prefecture.
Nevertheless, it's cute. I'm happy for them.
