The question is, will this be something Q related or something about Anno's movie project?

Supposedly it'll contain some kind of Interviews with Anno and other Studio Khara staff....

Hopefully it'll be related to Q somehow (then again, why else would it be in Newtype if it wouldn't be....)

EDIT: The issue will be on newsstands May 10th, for people skimming this thread.

if they do announce Q then my prediction that Evangelion 3.0 news come in summer, gets release date set somewhere in December or late October and gets pushed back to January/February thanks to lolAnno seems beliavable...

Nice! Though I'm gonna be away from home for a couple of months (no computer for about 2 months). I'll probably write a letter to one of my friends who likes Eva to at least tell me about it.

I kind of doubt Anno would take out a feature in Newtype to talk about his new live-action art film. It's definitely gonna be 3.0-related. And that means it will be just about time for me to leave this forum for the next few years...

If they announce the names of Tunny and Clocky and they happen to be Kushiel and Othniel no one here can ever say I'm not a giant monster expert/the #1 expert of monsters of the week. :cool:

So how long until Newtype's next issue is released? And why do half you people need a change in pants?

As for the June/May thing, it's probably that the June issue actually comes out in May. Magazine publishing schedules tend to get weird like this.

I don't know about the next issue, but according to Khara's twitter, the issue containing whatever announcement they are going to make will be released on the tenth of May.

Lolno. There will always be an extended period of magazine pimping before release. That's how Japan did it for 30 years and that's what sustains the anime magazines. There's no reason for anyone to change that.



In slightly related news, since THIS THREAD is locked I might as well post here: The Khara recruitment page has been updated on April 6th to say that currently they're not recruiting.

Which means they have found their animation staff... or are halway done animating....July, that's like... in two months! Finally, new info! Oh, I want it now... I don't see us getting the movie anywhere before October/November AT BEST, I mean, this will be the first info ever, I don't expect a releasedate yet, but it's easier to bear the wait if there's at least SOMETHING... When it comes out, someone needs to grab the article and translate it.
