Night Court.

It's been years, some of the jokes are dated, but all in all, the show holds up amazingly well, and is still as funny as ever.

The show's better known for its surrealist antics in later seasons, but in the early ones, it's more akin to Cheers or M.A.S.H. There's an honest, down-to-earth heart to the show and a serene chemistry to the characters, something you can't help but feel good about.

EDIT: Now watching Penn & Teller: Bullshit! I heard of some of their stuff indirectly, it's great to finally see where it's all been coming from.

Watched Drumline after reading much of the AKB49 manga; the former is about what it takes to be P1 in the drum section, the latter... well, you know, bustin' ass to be the best in an elite unit called the largest pop group in the world, but despite the wide gap in worlds, they do have one thing in common: as far as artistry and discipline is concerned: one band, one sound.

The finnish broadcast of Game of Thrones s1 just ended last week and I gotta say, few nitpicks aside (too much pointless sex added for reasons easily discernible), it was fantastic.

Made me pick up the book series for the first time since being a teenager.

yeah the broadcast just started in beginning of this year

well actually it might've aired before on some other channel (satelite required or something like that), I'm not sure, but this was the first chance for me to see it barring the internet and it didn't interest me enough for that

I attempted to watch family guy but I switched the channel about half way through, man this show’s quality has just gone down.

Also watched the Simpsons this was at least watchable, I still like the show even though the quality has gone down over the years.

I'm up through episode 10 of "Planetes." A couple of the initial slice-of-life episodes were a bit hokey, but I really, really like the realism and attention to detail in the outer-space setting.
