I found EvaMonkey through ANF. It was just a blog back then. These were the days of the EvaOtakus, the Rossmans. The download Girlfriend of Steel off of Kazaa days. Feels like an eternity ago.

I found it through EvaMoney.com. I followed the site but never signed up. Once I saw the EvaMonkey forums go down I created an account here. And then when I stopped posting for about a year, Carl Horn's mention in the back of one of the mangas brought me back.

I don't remember if I first came here after watching EoE or the first Rebuild installment, I do remember searching "evangelion forums" on google because I wanted to know if such a thing existed (it was no surprise that it did). Anyway, soon after that my eva-meter depleted and I got off of Eva for a while, it was only after watching Rebuild's second installment that I remembered this forum existed and came back here and registered and stuff. I fear, however, that my Eva addiction is fading yet again and will likely only come back when Q is released.

She and I would be the principle culprits, due to slamming Eva Commentary and Eva Monkey together... like matter and anti-matter.

I was supposed to retire Eva Monkey, but how can I give it up completely?

Back in 2006, I was directed to the EvaMonkey by somebody saying it was a great place to reference when confused about Eva. Needless to say, I was always confused, so I always went there. I was among the many to experience the merge to EvaGeeks.

Probably to find more info about the show so some of more technical elements of the show would make sense to me. I do know I lurked around almost all of Eva Monkey and Eva Commentary before lurking around this site.

Truth be told, the technical aspects still confuses me.
