So... I suscribe to a newsleter that sends me the latest in underground bands. In my latest issue I got this message:

"A new underground band in Japan has surfaced called the "Eva no Otakudom" They're only public song thus far is a remake of the song, "Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis." With their voices singing. As usual, I have attached the MP3 to the newsletter."

So I quickly downloaded and then uploaded the song to my server.

Now, the three singers are.

Kazuki Yasui impersonates Misato.

Daisuke Kawa is the one who managed to sort out legal usage of the song. Daisuke Kawa was the one who got rid of the already singing voice and slowed down the beat a tiny bit in some parts because guys sing lower and it's hard and bad sounding if a guy sings too fast. He impersonates Asuka.

The final singer is Hikaru Gokoku. He impersonates Rei.

"Eva no Otakudom" apparently are fans of the anime and are going to attempt to do a couple Eva songs. I'll see if the next newsletter has more about them.

Also from what I heard, Gainax has no plans of releasing their songs on their albums. Quite frankly, "Eva no Otakudom" doesn't even have an album themselves. They just make songs for fun it seems.
