I'd prefer a Gwenpool movie.

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Upgrade - probably my favorite film of 2018 so far. In the near future, a man named Grey (played by Tom-Hardy-doppleganger Logan Marshall Green) loses his wife and the ability to control any part of his body below the neck in what appears to be a robbery. He is offered the chance to have the most s...

Re-watching Soul Eater nearly a decade after watching it air live. A lot more fun binge-watching than I remember the week-to-week wait made it seem. The atmosphere of it is very Halloweenish which I am digging.

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Having read the novel twice but never having seen the film I finally sat down to view Rosemary's Baby. One of the most faithful adaptations I've ever seen, it was like watching what I had seen in my head upon reading the book.

No worse than that line at the end of the 2017 CGanime movie.

The Terror (adaptation of Dan Simmons' novel) is fantastic. The best television series I've seen in years.

I have the holographic cover version as well. I actually had to move my anime dvd/bluray shelf down one tier because of where it sat on the shelf in relation to the sun shining in through my bedroom window would reflect off it into my eyes as I lay in bed.

Due to my growing interest in the western genre, I'm working through the netflix original Godless, and it's pretty good so far. Jeff Daniels steals every scene he's in, but I'm also getting to like the sheriff hunting him more and more.

I enjoyed Bright a lot more than I thought I would. Very fun action/fantasy movie and I hope the sequel delivers even more world building.

Had my annual double bill of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Black Christmas tonight. I never tire of either.

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

First trailer for Soldado, the sequel to Sicario dropped this morning. It appears to be focusing more on shootouts and explosions than building tension, however the first film's trailer also tried to bill it as an action film so we will have to wait and see. Either way, Josh Brolin and Benecio make ...

Re: Superhero/Comic Based Films & Tv - Vol.2

Finished the Netflix series of The Punisher. Hard to say what I think of it. Lot's of stuff I loved. Lot's I didn't. I realize that since Netflix ordered thirteen episodes they needed a bunch of subplots but it really would have worked better just focusing on the Frank/Micro storyline and trimmed do...

Re: Oh The Horror!

I have to ask, why watch these movies in the first place? What would be the point in purposely inducing fear? I could not tell you any one reason. Is it the onset of an adrenaline rush when you know a jumpscare is about to make you pop out of your seat? Is it some deep-rooted psychological problem ...

If you aren't calling in to work sick in order to marathon Stranger Things 2 and eat pizza all day, well then you're just not living life correctly.
