As for Asuka's arms being drawn correctly, she's in perspective, so it's normal for what's closest to us to seem longer than the rest. Check where her arms end- right above her knees, which is anatomically correct.

However, she tells Shinji she punched the glass for the years of grief he caused her. We can imagine that she's been conscious and missing him for a long, long time. (That's my bet. Could be she's also peeved a bunch of people are dead, but she didn't exactly have any good friend...

Him strangling a kitten got me intrigued. I think it's important to appreciate characters in terms of what they offer to the story and themes, rather than judging them personally. I thought manga Kaworu's character development was very satisfying, especially in parallel to Rei's.

Lonecrow, I think you'll appreciate Kaworu's treatment in Sadamoto's manga then. He's introduced earlier (is around for volumes 9-11), and is given a character arc and complex relationship with Shinji.

To airman, that picture you linked is Lilith's mask from NGE. Lilith's mask in NTE is different.
