The only thing to watch for with CDjapan is, and im not sure if its just when u pay with paypal, but they take the money upfront instead of waiting until the stuff comes in stock, not a problem when you're just buying from them but can pre-ordering a bit of a pain.

I feel your pain TMB, I've got the unit 02g on pre-order and really starting to regret it. Don't get me wrong, I really want the figure it's just going to be a pain affording the thing. Ah well, should've known better when I pre-ordered it.

Hmm, Revoltech unit 08b and the mark nine are in the sale over on hobby search, bit surprised by that.

Those pics of the Koto unit 02 look sweet, if mine comes out looking that good I'll be a happy man. Trouble is it's making me want unit 01 (must resist). Finger crossed they produce a unit 08a, would make a nice companion to unit 02.

So my Koto Eva 02 has been shipped, looking forward to that. Bit worried about putting it together as I haven't done anything like that for years. Any advice from the more experienced members of the forum on how best to remove the pieces from their sprues?

Yay, got my Mark 09! First impressions, very nice, bit more poseable than the previous 3.0 Evas which is nice. I agree that the green circle on the top of its head is a little sloppy and should have been made from clear plastic. This guy seems to suffer from the gloss paint, more so than the others ...

Agreed, that Mark 09 does look a little off to me as well. On the other hand the revoltech version is only a week away (from release at least) so not long to wait now.

Got my Unit 02g this morning, great little figure. Granted he's a tad smaller than the most recent batch of Evas but you don't notice that so much in person. Even the head sculpt holds up even though I'd seen some slightly dodgy pics of it. I think I may like it more than Evangelion 13, ...
