I'd lead them both into an inclosed collesium and make them fight to the death! That way, one would die and we wouldn't have to deal with Asuka being jealous of Kaworu's relationship with Shinji or vice versa. Seriously, if Anno starts that Angelic Days kind of stuff in Eva 2.0, I'll...

My avatar is Laharl Kricevskoy from the the absurdly awesome SRPG, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Seriously, Disgaea is a fricken' masterpiece!

No sig yet, can't think of anything worthwhile to put there!

Yeah, I agree. I live in Ireland and I see stuff like that all the time in history books and on graves and in really, really old buildings.

@ CitizenGeek: Welcome aboard and thanks for the compliments. Thank you Sailor Star Dust! ^_^ I must admit that I've been very, very impressed with this site! Like I've mentioned in another thread, though, it can be quite confusing. Certain memes or in-jokes (like some thing that involv...

nice to see the forum back up and running. i missed everyone. from now on the words Beautiful World will make me think of Eva. Me too! I absolutely love that song - Utada Hikaru ftw! This might sound strange but "Eva" makes me think of: "A Clockwork Orange" Both are trippy and I...

I think if the so-called "Glasses Girl" did turn out to be the new Eva character, I'd be somewhat disapointed! She doesn't look like a character that would fit in with the rest of the cast, and she resembles Shinji and Hikari a little too much! Still, I'll reserve final judgeme...

To be slightly OT here, what is AWO anyway, and why do they hate EMF now? This is AWO, a pretty awesome anime podcast - aside from the Eva hate (which only shows in one episode, really - whenever they discuss Eva in other podcasts they don't rip on it). Well worth listening to, really! ...

I know that the soul of Yui was in Eva 01, but even at that it, she didn't play that big of a role at all.

So, this Yui stuff is all just one big in-joke by some hyperactive Yui fans?

Whoa, I thought I knew a fair amount of stuff about Eva - then I found this site, and turns out: I really don't know all that much beyond the blatentely obvious about the series :( What's all this about Yui? IIRC, the role she played in the anime was nowhere as large as a lot of people h...

I've got the first two volumes of this manga. I really, really enjoyed the first volume, but the 2nd volume kind of killed off my interest in it. It's a series I'll return to eventually, but I'd rather concentrate on the actual Eva manga at the moment!

The plan may not have gone exactly to SEELE's plans, but it seems they came closet to achieving their goal, right?

Words like 'Genesis', 'Neon' and 'Evangelical' remind of Evangelion. But, even the word anime makes me think of Eva. It's the first thing that comes into my mind when I hear 'anime' when I'm not expecting to hear that word!

Re: Rebuild's dub

What can I say? Metal Gear Solid's voice acting is the cream of the crop. Well, yes, MGS's voice acting is superb, but I think the original dub cast were fantastic in Eva. I'm pretty sure Tiffany Grant and Spike Spencer would be well able to voice their respective characters. I do hope ...

I say nay. SEELE done what they did, because they thought it was best for humanity, not because they were evil or anything like that, though. I have that set! 8D

It was originally released as exclusive to the UK, and there was a limited number of them made. I got my set in July for €110! :D It's a pretty cool set, actually! The case the DVDs comes in is nice, the booklet is nice and the tin is nice and compact!
