^ Full academicals may not flatter the figure, but I for one don't see anything to be negative about... I'm not sure it would be ego-bolstering for you to make comments along the lines of "like teh fist of an angry god" (or whether it would just deepen my reputation as th...

So does that mean that all of the Rei's have seperate souls seperate from each other and Lilith? They may be sharing it; rather like the Feynman/Wheeler "one electron" theory (see e.g. http://www.superstringtheory.com/forum/hawking/messages2/135.html) - something that has been...

@DatDude It's not so much whether one wants to appeal to the NGE2 game material or not, more a case of checking off the cases. Either Lilith and Adam were here from the beginning of time; arrived here later or came into being here at some point. The "came here from elsewhere" choice is...

I don't see any reason why Kaworu would come for Rei, or even if he did, how was Rei II brought about? ReiII co-exists quite happily with ReiI being inside EVA-00 http://homepage.mac.com/csf2860/Mis/Rei14.jpg Kaworu was there with Rei in the post-Instrumentailty to chat with Shinji; and Rei did...

You taking the words out of context 3I had begun and nothing can stop it. While we see this part of the conversation almost at the very end of EoE , it is fairly obviously part of their talk in the same setting from the 2003 flashback shown in 21' - after Second Impact, when Third was but a gat...

Re: Dual lance of longinice... longininance..... w/e

@Space Penis The outcome was Yui's intent, but the details of how it was launched might not have been. I doubt she intended Shinji to be batshit crazy at the time; and whether it was convenient for Kyoko to have been neutralised before she started taking over, or necessary, is not clear @SEELE 0...

Re: Dual lance of longinice... longininance..... w/e

Hey, whatnow? What was Yui's angle in all this? I thought her aim just to get her soul in an Eva, but was there something else she was after? She was clearly after more than just that, as her conversation with Kozo indicates [code:1:3gyeqtg7]Episode 21' - Yui/Fuyutsuki under a tree with bab...

Re: Dual lance of longinice... longininance..... w/e

Iwas refering to the copy of the LoL, the one the Eva series from EoE used, most notably to stab Asuka through the head. i was asking why SEELE never felt the fact that there was another lance was important, considering how important the lance was to 3rd impact. in short, was the other lance a fake...

guys I always wanted a LoL-shaped fork :P  ...do they sell anywhere?? I have seen a picture of one in a stack of NGE merchandise, so you could at one time. In history, it got it's name because the man who used it to pierce Jesus' side was named longinus. Because the guys at Gainax wer...

Apparently on the Renewal version (as opposed to the low quality "Mangled" version available in English) there is a distinct AT Field blur as the Longinus no Yari launches from the Moon.

SEELE presumably manufactured/cultured the substitutes as part of the Mass Production effort.

For Opera read non-IE

BTW, the 404 page is still mainly in the old look and feel, and the inserted menus appear at unusual places, on top of the line "You;ve found a broken link..."

My favorite are EVA 01 and EVA 03, 'cause they both resemble - I think - the demon which they originate from. The design is supposedly inspired by the oni ("Japanese ogre"). (As I remember, they are cloned from Lilith, nope? EVA-01 was cultured in/from Lilith (as seen ...

After a long time in which her artistic endeavours have been off-line, Reichu has finally given in and put a temporary page together to show off her masterwork.

Includes some new images (at least, ones I'd not seen before).

Re: Explain the Ending of the Movie please >.<

Q: What exactly happened at the end? Shinji rejected complementation, and asked that the previous state of separation with AT fields be restored [code:1:3smgkpg4]Shinji: I feel that there were only hateful things there. So I'm sure it was okay to run away. But there was nothing good in the plac...

Man where do you live? I live in the middle of nowhere in indiana and even here it's not like that. The air of anime as either kiddy stuff (Pokémon) or smut (Urutsokidoji) - to cite a couple of notorious titles - is one reason why I was happily "out" with colleagues at my current job as a...

No problems at the client side here (Firefox 1.5); though there are a few glitches with the mark-up (the most obvious being a chunk of header adrift in the page body; the rest fairly trivial nits, some of them due to Blogger), I am pleased to see the adoption of a much lighter weight...
