I'm now at the Lost-Children arc of Berserk and well, dayum I love this. Miura's truly a master mangaka, I'm gonna have to finish Honey and Clover S2 along with projects soon in order to make some dedicated aside-time for this series. I'd recommend watching Honey & Clover S2 bef...

So apparently I'm pretty much the only person who actually liked Artpop . Anyone else here listen to it yet? I digged it, but it sounded the same as her last album, which also sounded basically the same as the one before that. I was just totally puzzled by what people were complaining about. If...

^Couldn't happen anyway. Sterling Morrison's been dead for more than fifteen years.

I feel the same. Sucks he's dead, but all of his worthwhile contributions to music came out decades ago, at this point.

DIRTY PAIR Nice review. Shameless plug That said, Dirty Pair isn't a show that is designed around an overarching plot or significant character development, anyway. It's basically like a sexualized, sci-fi action version of K-On in space with a smaller cast. And it works because Kei & Yu...

It's a Hiroyuki Imaishi directed action series about clothes and scissors. Just... what?
Saying this on an Eva forum is weirder than the show is itself, dude.

I'd put Sora no Woto on equal footing with Haibane Renmei. At the time SnW aired I didn't, but the last time I watched it again, its atmosphere, slow pace, and development easily made its mark as strongly as my last HR run-through.

Zardoz followed by Highlander. If in mood for triple feature, follow with The Matrix.

^Thanks. This is a bit over 48k words, so it's around the shortest limit of what seems to be the generally agreed upon minimum length of a novel; a final draft may end up being 4-5k words longer or shorter, though. The last piece I finished of any worth was a ~30k-word novella back in February, ...

Less shelf space; bigger pages; nicer paper; colour plates; and for many the elusive volume 9 (though I got that at a sensible price through patient searching). Oh nice, I hadn't realized that they were physically larger editions in terms of page space. That makes a difference, but I ca...

^Patlabor 2 has been my favorite Oshii film basically since the first time I ever watched it. His montages are fucking brilliant, particularly the sequence as the season changes to winter and the city comes under martial law. The theme based around a hidden war taking place in plain sight is brought...

Finally got a chance to start the summer season, and I kicked it off with Monogatari S2. I don't know why I did this. I do not regret this decision, however. In fact, I like it more already than the previous three installments combined, and it probably has to do with the fact that the best girls...

ReBoot was great, but I thought the show kinda took a dive for it's third or fourth season. Whenever it was that Enzo turned into Rambo and got a gun.
