Definitely introducing Kaworu earlier. Even after my initial run of the tv series back in 2000 I thought they should have brought him in earlier.
Also more Kaji! I can't explain it but I enjoy his character a lot. Maybe even some back story with him, Misato, and Ritsuko?

I think it would be creepy if I named my kid Kaworu... just saying hahahaha
