I've been watching this over the past several months and I gotta say it's a very cute, enjoyable show. I wouldn't consider myself a Brony but... yeah, it's the bee knees for children's programming right now.

Dazed and Confused - Very enjoyable teen comedy. (Still think Almost Famous is better though.)

Also saw Au Hazard Balthazar which took me completely by surprise. Now I see why Xard has it on his top 10.

Now I don't.

Oh? I know Jimbo hasn't been here in awhile but this reaction... must have been some falling out. :(

Hey guys, I thought you might find this amusing. Our long departed friend Eva Yojimbo finished watching Utena for the first time and here were his thoughts. (Via IMDB Evangelion Board) I just recently finished watching Revolutionary Girl Utena, which is often called the shojo version of Evan...

Our adoration of Evangelion - More emotional than academic?

I assume most Evangelion fans came to love the show for the strong emotional ties it brings. However, I would assume most fans come to forums like Eva Geeks because you found more to the series than just "Well that was a nice waste of 24 minutes!" My point is I can more or less assume most...

Mizoguchi is for film scholars whereas Ozu and Kurosawa are for film buffs. I love Ugetsu, though. Yeah, I'm definitely more of a causal viewer. Though I've had my moments of digging into a film. Also, of the two I agree Ugetsu was more interesting. You should give Mikio Naruse a try ...

I was very happy with this episode. Moffat's era seems to be getting better with each season and Smith... Smith is shaping up to surpass the great Tom Baker as my favorite Doctor.
