Unit-08 has a very high genetic match to Provisional Unit-05. However, Unit-08's genome fixes the problems that Unit-05 had, which had resulted in the older Eva's limb replacement.

Just a thought- and a possible reason to link Mari's evas.

I'd totally go with Mari. Eva pilot? Check. Relatively stable? Check. Able to get away with eating and drinking in the entry plug? Double check. Yep, Mari is definitely my option.

I'd go with Eva 13. At least that one doesn't have a guillotine blade for a crotch-- unlike every single other Evangelion Unit. I mean, granted, the whole 'turning into God' thing is a bit difficult to work around (blisteringly hot like that- ouch!), but 'normal' Eva...
