I know this sounds like a dumb question, and it probably is, but what if you replaced a character with Ren from Ren and Stimpy instead. How would this affect the story?

I've seen that movie as well, in fact, I have an entire collection of Godzilla films. But sadly, for good or for worse, I've never seen Godzilla vs Megalon
