I think only ILM could realistically pull off the good special effects such a movie like Eva would need. WETA does some ok work but it always looks really fake still. Still better WETA than some unknown digital effects house though.

Some trekkies despise the new movie while some sure are happy to see the franchise coming back from the dead. But theres those who just aren't happy with how the new franchise is being made to be more open to newer audiences, and the more casual fans.

I doubt Matt would be directly involved in the production that much. A producer at best, but script, direction, etc will surely be handled by actual "movie people".

Awesome in the sense that I think it would be great if they tried it. Don't mean for it to be something earth shattering or basically hinge the whole Rebuild project on it.

It's all over the place, some of it seemed good but it just seemed very random in it's arrangement. Hopefully not the only version of the song that we will see come out of rebuild.
