Real great prison film, Vince Vaughn is in rare form here and the violence is fucking brutal.

The season finale felt lackluster compared to the rest of the season. Damn shame since they were doing so well.

Slightly related to the exploitation of children, this movie looks very promising, lots of Drive/Taxi Driver/Hotline Miami vibes, plus Joaquin Phoenix is always fantastic.

War For the Planet of the Apes- Fantastic film, without a doubt the best in an already amazing trilogy. Seriously, Andy Serkis should win the first Oscar for a CGI character. I have no doubt I'll be going to see this once more before the theatrical run ends.

Coraline. Still just as fantastical, atmospheric and awesome as I remember it being when I saw it in theatres.

The Belko Experiment- 8/10

A fun genre film that I didn't know had been written by James Gunn (of GotG fame). The tagline describing it as Office Space meets Battle Royale was extremely apt.

Madoka Magica: The Rebellion Story. It's my personal favorite anime film of the new millenium. Also, Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade.

Put $10 into a VLT last night while out having some drinks and shooting pool with buds. Ended up winning $800, so all drinks were on me. Still managed to walk away with a cool $650.

Day ruined. Twister was my go-to childhood film. In fact, I'm gonna rewatch it tonight.
