Re: Was Ikuhara supposed to direct the show at one point?
As it is, Ikuhara's one known suggestion, that the series end with Rei being pregnant (as a jab at the waifu fags), didn't happen, and we just got an Ikuhara expy instead. Depending how you interpret GNR, you might say that did indeed happen in EoE, as symbolically giving birth to the amalgamation ...

Re: Rewatching the Rebuilds, and my thoughts
I just want to echo everyone's advice so far in this thread. To gain a better understanding of 3.0 especially, rewatching 1.0 and 2.0 is definitely helpful. (I'd say a rewatch of NGE is good for various narrative echoes and changes, but I think it'd be better to rewatch NGE then 1.0 through 3.0.) I...

Lovely realism there. Might you perhaps consider doing one like that for Kaworu?

Re: Full Metal Panic.
Oh no. I was looking at the PV, and I was thinking that the animation seemed... underwhelming? And now I find out KyoAni's not doing it anymore. Pity. I had high hopes. Of course, might still be a good story, but they did a SUPERB job on Fumoffu and TSR. I highly doubt Invisible War will be at their...

They are from the same author, Ryohgo Narita . While Baccano!! is a fun, fast-paced romp that everyone should watch and can enjoy, Durarara!! 's quality sadly visibly suffers from the effects of having to churn out so many Episodes. It's still fun, tho. Hmm, true. To be perfectly honest, the qualit...

Re: What You Did NOT Like About Evangelion
Only two things really: First, Asuka's introduction in NGE was somewhat poorly executed. I get it, budget and everythng, but for supposedly being native Germen, her German is really basic and her pronounciation is horrible to be honest to the point where I could barely make out what she was trying ...

They're calling again. (I am of the opinion that if Frasier and Niles were real, Frasier would turn his nose up at NGE, while Niles would adore and dissect it.)

Interview with Tiffany Grant
So... I conducted an interview with Tiffany Grant ~a week ago. Extremely nice woman. I just wish I wasn't so starstruck, and was able to do a better job of actually interviewing. Fortunately, she was clearly doing her best to make up for my failings, and so the result is listenable. Enjoy. ^_^ https...

(For the sake of completing the separation theme, we can include emotionally being separated from Kaworu due to his death, even though Kaowru isn't female.) Actually... From Shinji's perspective, and indeed even canonically speaking, Kaworu is female in every way except biologically. This simply su...
