I've read somewhere (can't find the source), that Kaworu was heavily inspired by Kunihiko Ikuhara. There are interviews with him and Anno, I believe. But where the idea that the last angel should look human came up, i don't know either.

Ok, Xard. Before I go into this, I’d like to mention, that it’s been more than 5 years, since I’ve seen this series. I know that I didn’t like it and I vaguely remember why. Still, I realise it’s futile to discuss that with you, since you obviously know this series much better than me. But I’d like ...

I loved playing WipeOut and Crisis Core. And I would have loved if they'd actually released Type-0. Still hate Squenix for lying to me in that regard. But at the time they were finally ready to release the game, the PSP was already dead because they decided to abandon and neglect it after the re...

It seems that way. I don't believe in God, but in my opinion that's more legit than what the U.S. does to people in Guantanamo. Cultural relativism is the order of the day.

I still like the thesis, that Kaji got shot, because he impregnated Asuka.

I loved it as a movie which entertains, I hated it as an addition to Madoka. God bless, I'm not a huge Meguka-fan, so I can still have a fun time with Rebellion.

I don't really see how they make you feel closer to a group of rich children who go out and rob celebrities, but I suppose on the bright side it's better to have mundane problems than earth-shaking tragedies all the time. I was referring to the nature of their FMLs. To me it seems that some...

Just because something doesn't want to be deep, it doesn't mean it cannot be viewed as such. Does that make it a lie? I don't know. But I think in Postmodernism it would be all right.
An Imaishi-Anime should be approached with an open mind and the will to get entertained.
