A bit uncalled for, amirite? Whatever you think. There are other songs as good as or better than One Life. That's one of my favorites, though. Such as? I'm looking to expand my musical tastes, and my knowledge of The Pillows doesn't expand much farther than FLCL. Speaking of which, the ...

Okay, I get it. you can shutup now.

About The Pillows, though. One Life is a great song. I mean, some people like Japanese pop music just because it's catchy, popular, and in a foreign language, but The Pillows, or at least that particular song, is genuinely great.

i thought she was simply proof of mankinds existence And the question is why? Why suddenly introduce this plot point at the end of the series if it doesn't serve to further an already existing point? Sorry, I wasn't really asking why Yui floated off in the first place. I'm asking why th...

Reichu wrote:Well, without that, the fact that Yui stays in the Eva and floats off into space wouldn't make much sense, now would it?

Why does she float off in the first place? If that conversation exists for the sake of this scene, then why does this scene exist?

The main theme of Evangelion is obvious. It's basically spoon-fed to the viewer by the end of the show. So why did Anno (or whoever else) decide to encorporate so many other elements into the series? The scene in EoE where Yui and Fuyutsuki are discussing Eva, for example. What was this ...

NERV wrote:Has Gainax or Anno ever thought of making the EOE ending so Shinji doesnt renew the entire world it would be interesting to see an alternate ending to the EOE.

It would be really stupid and pointless. If it were to ever happen, Anno would commit seppuku.

Re: The funny thing is

The funny thing is that Shinji likes Rei and Asuka. If Shinji likes Rei, then that is sick because Rei is technically Shinji's mother. It's sick for someone to like there mother? Rei's only relation to Shinji's mother is genetic. I'm not sure what "tecaly" means, but I...

Adult Swim is pretty light when it comes to editing. Have you seen Robot Chicken lately? If they can show babies being slaughtered by helicopter blades, I doubt they'll have any problems with Evangelion. Ahh yes! But in lieu of rotaryblade infantacide, Evangelion has religious symbols and naked...

Dammit! I was just about to post this! It could be worse. My guess is that Evangelion will no doubt go to Adult Swim. No way will it go on Toonami. If it's on Adult Swim there's actually a good chance it may not even be edited. Probably a little bit. The body of Asuka's mom swinging from...
