In the back of his artbooks, Sadamoto does say what martials or computer programs he used for some of the illustrations. My copies of those books are in a box that isn't too easy to get to and I don't remember anything too much off the top of my head. Sorry.

Been on call for my job for the past week, and it wasn't the nightmarish hell that it was for my coworkers. Plus after I'm done tomorrow, the program is discontinued.

Crunchyroll is going to start streaming Madoka tomorrow. Maybe it will be a chance for me to see what the hullaballo is about with this show.

I watched the Escaflowne movie yesterday. Now for a long time, I've heard that it was terrible compared to the TV series. After watching it, I can't say that it was terrible, but it isn't the best movie ever. The animation was great, the soundtrack is pretty damn good, and I don't mi...

Here is the ANN article. It appears to be a little less confusing. Is there a possibility that the series could end at volume 13; but that volume will contain more chapters, and there fore be much thicker, than the previous ones?

9 - Doesn't even merit mentioning, really. Utterly inexcusably bland and boring and pointless. A waste of space, a waste of money, a waste of time. Moving on. 10 - I hate this movie, even more than any of the others. It's so fucking stupid and cliche, it's like the worst of fanfiction. ...

Where I live, there is a labor dispute between American Crystal Sugar and the union resulting in a lockout, which unfortunately affects one of my brothers. Anyway a few days ago; someone sympathetic to the union posted a spoof video using an old, and perhaps to many, tired meme. I found it funny sin...

Watched Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing Episode 12. This episode was pretty good, even though it was taking place 10 years in the past. It was nice seeing the way things used to be but rather sad knowing what a wreak their world would become. Even worse was seeing the what happened to the Queen. S...

I'm not that much of a Macross fan, but I'll post this news for the ones who are: That the original series is getting a Blu-ray release...for a little over $500 US. There is a "complete edition" as well...for over $600.

While I am disapointed about the news (looking at my shelf, about 70% of the anime I own on DVD & Blu-ray are from Bandai), it seems in many ways the writing on the wall. As for their unreleased shows, I think Gosick & My Ordinary Life will find new homes eventually. I also think tha...
