I reviewed the situation a bit and realized that whatever the facts are, being attached to her isn't going to help me in the least, because then every little thing that happens between us will be really stressful for me even though it isn't actually significant. I guess you just can't fo...

Okay so I've got a situation. I've been at my job for about two months, and there's this girl at work who I've taken an increasing interest in. She is diligent, relatively easily to talk to, studied literature and linguistics (two things I like), but is rather reserved. We do...

It's not like there was a goalpost somewhere reading, "make this person your girlfriend to score fifty points and win the game before you run out of episodes." She's not entitled to have him, nor is nothing of the sort happening a giant failure. It's a neutral outcome of, &quo...

To say he "chickened out" here is especially... weird, given that this excuse is what she uses to goad him into doing it despite his better judgement I said that Shinji doesn't how how to handle it, so the whole experience is awkward for him. It's not a disaster, but it doesn'...

I think Shinji acts the way he's raised: to do his work obediently and quietly. Of course he laughs at jokes made by the likes of Touji and Kensuke, listens to the advice of people like Kaji, and fantasizes about having a different relationship with the girls and women in his life, but that all ...

As I understand it, the plan SEELE had was to destroy individual egos by combining them into one big hivemind that would dream the sum of its formerly-dispersed (in the form of individual humans) thoughts for eternity, without any misunderstandings, interpersonal drama, or anything. It's...

Well if you recall in the manga there is a mission where they make Tae a target (which was similar to making Kei the target) Right, but it just felt incidental alongside the aliens and superaliens and weird developments and other character arcs and die-offs. Gantz for me was always an episo...

Well it's possible that had he been left alone for some more years, he would had weaponized his "pathology", we never saw what Gendo looked like when he was a teenager, and Shinji did showed some very violent bouts of anger, look at his berserk rage when he charged Sahaquiel or at the...

I'd say that Shinji had a lot of Gendo in him, just that for whatever reason, like you say, Gendo's pathology was more weaponized. You know how Shinji, whenever something went wrong, would just sulk into a corner? Well Gendo probably convinced himself that he needed to fight back against som...

I agree with the anime being flawed. The animation was beautiful though. I wish they would redo the whole thing. What I thought was cool about the anime ending was how they made Kurono into the target and we got to see how he dealt with that. It was interesting because it showed the utter arbitrari...

I think the main reason why the (stupid) question of "can there be non-Japanese anime" is even asked to begin with is due to the mind-bogglingly common misconception that "anime" is a genre. It's not. While there are a number of common stylistic tropes that generally...

Hm, I got the impression that everyone in Brotherhood looked fat compared with the first anime.

Worms Armageddon for the GBC.

It has okay gameplay (as a kid, I liked its multiplayer feature), some replayability, and some really good music.

I actually sort of liked the anime ending, even though it was seriously flawed. Then again, the entire anime was seriously flawed, so that had something to do with it.

I thought it had gone on too long as it was. So yes the ending was kind of disappointing but I didn't expect much better given that the plot was already rather compromised.

I have 11 hours to write an 8-page essay on Kafka, but whenever I try to write anything there seems to something... wrong about the interpretation. How Kafkaesque. It took me until 9 hours past the due date, but I don't care. Not eight but NINE pages of twenty-four hundred words of Germanspeak ...

No, most of those are jokes. The game itself is quite good if only for the awesome atmosphere it creates. The gameplay, while good for a game of its time, does get a bit troublesome at times, especially in the later stages of the game. I recommend smaller maps so that you don't get overwhelmed b...
