The Eva store in Ikebukuro was very disappointing. It was also extraordinarily overpriced. Some Eva pens? ¥1296. Ergo, I didn't buy much. I am heading to Akihabara again to find some Eva Gachapon machines.

Catamari's Magnificent Japanese Misadventures

It is truly staggering how many failed login attempts I get on my server. Almost all of them from a bot trying a range of ports and username combos. "root" and "oracle" seem to be the favorites. For obvious reasons. Granted I do use a very good password and, thankfully, they have...

Leaving for the Japan trip on Wednesday. Got my books in for the trip. I bought a number of them because I don't know how much downtime I will have, and I would prefer to read than fuck around on my tablet. Including: Lonely Planet: Japan, One Nation Under Therapy, and The Perfect Swarm. I'l...

Come on, I know you live in Britain, but use real units, like Smoots.

That said, if you decide to go with the [s]15 mile[/s] 14.2 kilosmoot option, you'll get a seriously good leg workout. So good, in fact, you could probably run to the building after a few weeks of biking.

Whelp. Gonna need to retake Calculus 3. I'm not pissed off because I have to retake it, but more because I worked extremely hard this term and I still wasted my fucking money. ~$1400 down the fucking drain. I feel cheated. Shit, with the money that class cost, I could have purchased a PS90 and g...

Re: There IS a catch. B/

For reference, a 8000 MW nuclear reactor (which Japan's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa plant, the largest in the world, is very close to being) could produce about 6.9*10^14 Joules in a single day, running on full steam. Not to be an ass, but it's generally more useful to think of power plant o...
