Re: FML general thread [8]
If it is the same PS3 I have, it is quite simple to open. Just needs a screwdriver. The screws are hidden underneath rubber pieces on the bottom. That is...if your machine is past warranty. Opening the system up prior to the end of the warranty voids it though. Best of luck. It's probably past warr...

Re: FML general thread [8]
My PS3 disc drive finally gave up the ghost; it became stuck and can't read discs anymore. Unfortunately it also trapped one of my discs inside, specifically my Demon's Souls disc (but it can't read the disc and doesn't seem to realize it's in there). I can't even have it repaired since the machine ...

Re: What are your Evangelion 3.0+1.0 promotion ideas?
And speaking of Hikki... this new song of hers is amazing (and seems possibly fitting for 3+1): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASl2cluuyIU Sadly, it's apparently a new ending theme for some Japanese news broadcast. But damn, if that's what she makes for that, what's she gonna make for 3+1? She's b...

^ I honestly wasn't expecting much from Biba anyway. If a show has an ensemble cast and character isn't seen in either the show's OP or ED, then that character isn't to be trusted. It's just modern anime law at this point. Biba actually is in the OP, but he's only shown from behind looking villaino...

I'm kind of disappointed that FromSoftware never followed up on the 3 projects and the DS3 DLC they were teasing days ago.

^That reminds me, I should probably finish VALIS, since I enjoyed it but never devoted as much time to it as I should have.
I've been more inclined to fantasy works lately; I'm trying to have a serious go at The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy again before taking on The Silmarillion.

Kabaneri 9: So, there's this elite club. Its members have names like Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. Biba really, really wants in. This show has gotten a little too grimderp for me. Time to get off this train. I am disappointed that they made Biba really cliche in the last 2 episodes. I might stick around...

Had a dream that everyone on Earth was under the control of a some sort of symbiotic hive-mind, but that they were unaware of it most of the time.

Kabaneri e.08 I'm getting some Griffith vibes from Biba after that episode, possibly from the way he recruited Mumei. There's also at least one other Kabaneri besides Mumei and Ikoma, who serves as one of Biba's guards. Ikoma, in typical anime fashion, can't display any tact and has...

Re: [TV] A Game of Thrones
Thought 605 was a nice step up from the previous installments this season. The finale threw me off a bit, though, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. "A season 6 episode of Game of Thrones without at least three deaths is considered a dull affair." The culling continues, sigh. Who will ...

^I've seen the way the wind was blowing after what they did to Command & Conquer, although I guess everyone got caught up in all the hype for Battlefront after the big exciting E3 trailer.

when the one they released is so crappy. I didn't even buy the game, but I can tell, you play it for a few hours and then never go back to it again. Maybe it was wrong to think this was going to be the long awaiting Battlefront III. I know I am like over a year late in posting this, but the fact th...

Ah well... Been monitoring the polls since midnight. Never expected a social democrat to win the vice presidency by a narrow margin, over a son of a dictator. I never felt this more alive than ever before, so that counts as an RML. From that point onward, she'll make sure Duterte can't do something...

Tomorrow's the national elections, so... I'm not sure this time if I could be able to keep up being online in the next six months. I don't know because the most popular presidential candidate in my country happens to be the most megalomaniacal man I ever seen, and people have really brought into th...

I still dream of a Final Fantasy with graphics looking like Amano's illustrations.
I always found the difference between Amano's classical androgynous artwork and the more typical RPG depictions of the characters in the game proper rather jarring.

I'd have to pay extra for the DLC content, is what I meant, since I didn't get the Season Pass. I think I deleted my save before uninstalling although it may still be in the cloud somewhere.

Re: Fallout
Except now my interest in the game is so low I don't want to play it even with mods. I feel cheated somehow... The game didn't really amaze me in the same way Skyrim or Morrowind do and I don't really feel like any amount of DLC could lure me back at this point. Maybe the DLC might do for Scholar o...

Finally managed to scrape up enough money to afford my own bow and set of arrows for Archery, so I don't have to keep fighting over the crappy club ones.
