Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now
But, how could she possibly explain to her parents what happened to her? I don’t they would believe what she had been through. Also, there were those kids to look after. Since Sis had died, who will be able to take care of them? I think Sara chose to stay behind as a way to keep her promise for Sis...

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread
I'm fine calling Grogu by his proper name. And of course... ...his new teacher is Jedi Master Luke Skywalker himself! This is a rather pleasant surprise. But that departure between Din and Grogu, that was a real tearjerker there. I got emotional at that part. And it’s also awesome that Boba Fett is...

Re: What are you watching right now? (tv series + see OP!)
I’m watching The Mandalorian again on Disney Plus. It’s probably the third time now or so watching the first season.
I’d have to say that Baby Yoda is THE cutest thing ever!!! And not to be dramatic, but I would die for him. And Mando is such a great dad!

As for Sara, I also would have preferred if she came back. But, how could she possibly explain to her parents what happened to her? I don’t they would believe what she had been through. Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now
Exactly all the characters struggles are in vain and it makes the 'happy ending' just come off as emotionally inauthentic, and hollow. It's a lie that 'life is still worth living' and 'everything will turn out alright when The sun is literally going to explode and all human achievement is to be ren...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now
I felt the ending was a bit hollow and pointless Spoilers for the ending of Now and Then Here and There: One of my only complaints(the other being the awful OP) about the show is that it doesn't show what happens to the protagonist after he comes back. I didn't need much, just a cou...

I’m watching Ima Soko Ni Iru Boko, otherwise known as Now and Then Here and There in English. I downloaded it on ITunes years ago and got access of it through Apple TV. It’s about a boy named Shuzo Matsutani, or Shu for short, who found a mysterious girl named Lala Ru, who has the ability to manipul...

Re: Ritsuko and Asuka as Mirror Images
They're is also the sad thing that Asuka could grow up to be as jaded and miserable as Ritsuko in the post EOE setting, if she does not get therapy. In that case, Asuka is going to need therapy big time. I mean, at least now she and Shinji might be more willing to accept themselves, and each other,...

This seems like a pretty strong contradiction there.
Also, the one with Rei/Lilith is pretty cool!

^I’m not sure about the girls half my age being depicted in such manner. I mean, sure it’s more aimed towards teen boys, but I don’t think so much for grown men.
Although, if it was Misato or Ritsuko, I’d be down for it.

That’s good to hear. Stay safe out there. I heard that there’s a new strain that’s supposed to be more contagious. Hopefully, the vaccine will work against it.

That is a very good idea. Actually, I had thought about going on ArtStation at one point, though I had never taken the initiative. I will consider this, though. Thanks for the advice.

Guess who probably has Covid-19 on top of the Bell's Palsy! My roommate just tested positive for Covid, which means I probably also have Covid. I'm getting tested right now, but won't have the results in for another couple days. He's lost the sense of taste and smell, and has been coughing for the ...

Oh, thank goodness. I get a little worried sometimes of how some folks in my family might react if they ever saw them, especially with some of the requests I did before.
